I have a couple of books about Scandinavian folk magic (inclusive of the New World) and I gotta say: getting your money back, stopping/finding thieves, and "fixing" neighbor problems are hugely represented in the things you use folk magic for.

The valknut is a genuine medieval symbol, but as someone else pointed out, the meaning is obscure.
The runes are the viking ABC, called the futhark. Starting from the top and moving left it spells F U TH A R etc.

It looks like it's styled more like an axe meant for chopping wood than for battle. Wood axes tend to have curved ergonomic shapes while battle axes have straight handles. (It looks like it'd break in half if used for either though).

I've been lurking this thread since 2021, and never posted, but I need to now, because it happened to me too. I had a dream with Staph.

I was living in a very big house (my grandma's house actually) and she was my neighbour. I didn't talk to her much because I didn't want her to find out I was on the farms. She was creepy and weird and always had lots of delivery men knocking on her door to deliver her candies and useless shit like swords or whatever. We shared a garden and she never spoke to me when I saw her. In this garden was a huge abandoned house, and one day, I saw her get inside with one of the delivery men, and come back alone. So naturally I thought she killed him. I go to the abandoned house to try and find the corpse. Ensues a terrifying sequence where Staph stalks me and follows me around the house as I try to hide from her and find the corpse. She calls to me and says weird shit like "Dahmer made me do it", she calls me transphobic because I'm discriminating against her for searching the house. She finds me hiding (that was a fucking jumpscare) and we start to fight : I pull her hair and she loses all of it. I tell her the hormones are making her bald. She starts crying and says she's going to call the police for transphobic insults. She runs out of the house, sobbing and holding what's left of her hair in her arms. And I woke up.

Nothing will ever be as terrifying as this nightmare of Staph following me around an abandoned house.

Didn't look into it much because it won't happen, it's clickbait headlines like how Yellowstone will blow 'soon' (sometime in the next 500,000 years).
