Not to be a contrarian or to take away from this advice, but I haven't seen much LE action with regards to these servers. Has there been any?
Danburst studios has been investigated due to prior court proceedings where he was sent to rehab and the shit he was trying to pull with the discord has been catalogued by New Jersey PD. But an arrest is not possible as he did not meet up with a minor and the pictures he has saved in his "kitten picture" secret channel have not been posted publicly, but he is in possesion of said images and the police knows. Vespuci, Shitalian living in London who encouraged and saved pictures of kids cutting themselves. has removed his discord server from being public on his r/sillyboys club reddit. If he shut it down or privated it idk, but according to British law he was saving and in possession of explicit images of minors. I suspect it was raided and thats the reason for it's closure or he was pressured by authorities.

I have made huge mistakes, primarily announcing police reports here. The ones I shared to you I know won't go anywhere but it's not lost in cyberspace, it can be used in court of law if there is damning evidence in the future. It's a very very slow process and nothing may come up in a short period of time, so the reason why I don't post "look at this faggot" on here is because I'd rather they continue to incriminate themselves for future court proceedings. Due to having a job and moving away from police reports I am only interested in select few people due to a autistic vendeta nobody should replicate. Personally as I am not a paid detective or cop and this shit started affecting me heavily due to being in their situation when I was young, I am engaged in this passively from a civilians perspective.
Basically, it really does work, but the proceedings are slow and sensitive since it's prison time or financial penalties we are talking about. I find trolling these people and the people who troll them funny, and though that is effective as well, but in time I realized these people are too lost in delusion to figure out what the trolls are trying to tell them and play the victim. But I am not a teenager anymore with free time to spend on trolling.
The key is, upon researching the topic on how police works, is to mount up evidence over time, and even then it's not guaranteed to work. But if one of these people get tried, or even a failed trial, it's worth it. For now I can only really confirm that the police takes reports seriously and wants to help, but they can't ban these people from discord. Nor do discord channels like these get shut down when reported, only select few individual users.
Parents are at fault here too, not denying it. There is a grey area to these situations and I am a biased narrator. This post should not be taken as legal advice, nor am I a professional, nor am I a paragon of virtue, quite contrary, as these groups are a vicious cycle not alot of people break out of. As self reflection brings alot of shame and remorse when you look back and realize what you've been trough and how it was normalized in these circles and circles like it. When you are a kid you don't know any better, becoming a adult, entering real life and working on issues, you look back and realize what kind of trap you fell into and how it's still prevalent today as back then.
Discord will do the bare minimum. With NMCEC there is potential for real consequences that does not involve engaging in criminal behavior yourself.
edit: also it's criminally easy to make another account with a burner sim. Teenagers and adults can easily circumvent this. Getting accounts banned or suspended isn't effective.

Correction: he actually did report it to NMCEC. Apologies.
