ok, this has nothing to do with anything but
@Private Tag Reporter and
@MrJokerRager pointed out the game as a marketing tool and its just spot on
I was at the child section at HM and they were selling marvel clothes. Nothing new since they colab with both marvel and DC since forever but the carachter choices was so odd. Iron man, hulk, spidey and raccoon on the same shirt. Why raccoon? Sure, there is some shows on disney+ but who watches them when they same streaming service has bluey?
That colab came out maybe a month ago. The same time the hype was still fresh and raccoon was getting mega featured.
New blade movie= new blade caracther. The latest push for Squirrel Girl who already been in the talks for multiple shows/movies but never got off the ground.
They made a pod with squirrl girl (she always had the same VA) in 2022 that's pretty ok if you like goofy stuff.
Games and movies take years to plan and produce and knowing marvel is on a pretty much 10yr plan i wonder what the in-house road map actually look like.
HERE is a list of all new marvel projects that's in the works (DOOMSDAY lol) so guess we can all take a look at that and see if there's anything we like since it most likely will show up as a skin/carachter/season. Lol
I get that the game exist to promote marvel and mcu to a extent but I start to get this feeling it never ends. I gladly participate in capitalism (as many in this thread probably do) but these blurred lines of what's promoting what is just a bit skeevy and I downloaded a game, first and foremost, not a interactive pr app.
Again, ofc it exists to promote, like every tie in ever, but it's when it becomes too blatant it's getting harder to ignore.
I'll take my uwutism pieces now
