You don't really get into much trouble. The SS will show up and want to know what the fuck you were thinking, but it's not really prosecutable. Of course, you'll also be on a list for the rest of your life, but who isn't these days?

I mean, depends on severity and all. some people can have it and live up to 70~, others die by 18 or younger.

Yeah, my info was a bit out of date. I knew a girl in the 90's that had it and died in her late 30's. The point does remain that her life expectancy is certainly lower than average.

I still think it is a fake or highly exaggerated story though.

That is true. I do remember a certain celebrity claiming they made a threat and SS came to their house, either them of cops. I don't remember who it was though. I think it was a comedian.
