The very thing the community keeps saying doesn't happen, that these kids are totally figuring it out on their own and not because of porn, peer pressure, or the sheer power of being a child who'll fall for anything because you're that easily impressionable. This may be an old comparison but it's the whole vegan cat analogy—we all know who decided on the child being transgender. Not themselves, that's for sure. At 14 I was playing Roblox and wondering when new episodes of my favorite Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network would come on, not whether I identify as the opposite gender for clicks. I just know this dude has something lying about. Transgender adults are something else but transgender kids are another level of high worry.
And since kids are becoming more chronically online than ever and things been less catered for
them, they'll also be fed alternatives to help quell that, such as excessive leftist dogma. But you know how easy it is to talk about right-wing kids getting 'indoctrinated' but you never hear any of the same being said for left-wing kids? Apparently a child acting like they know they're truly a REAL girl despite their brains haven't even went past its half development stage is far more valid than a child being taught to bomb minorities or something!
Both are bad. Both sides shouldn't be peer pressuring and manipulating kids to use as shields for their ideologies.
But why do I feel for leftists, its much more emotionally impactful? At least for right-wingers, the worse they'll do is badly larp as Nazi's or repeatedly scream slurs to strangers and thinking they're comedy geniuses (with the very, very rare occurrence of them actually committing domestic attacks; example, that black kid who shot up a school not too long ago.), which, yeah, is terrible, but it's a very rare occurrence—something that most right-wing kids wouldn't dare to actually commit. But for left-wing children, they're constantly pressured to be good.
They're pressured to do what the lefties say lest they want to be called every -ist and -ism and -phone on the sun. They're constantly told what they're doing is good when in reality it's never enough. They need fuel and they'll do what they can to tell these children that constantly lamenting about Trump/Elon or how everyone's going to put them into death camps and firing squads is a GOOD thing and they'll do GOOD. They're constantly being fed media, games and shows they're told to obsess over because it has
queers, bright colors, and easy-to-hyperfixate-and-relate-to characters. It's the LGBT's version of brainrot and you can just tell from how they speak, interact, and repeat that they're long gone. That all you can do is just hope they'll find a healthier way to handling all of these or just learn the world's not gonna cater to their demands outside the internet.
I always believed that politics should be the last thing a child needs to be apart of—especially things they clearly have no full understanding of yet are gaslight to believe they're Socrates after looking at a bunch of 2,000 paragraph essays on queer expression and freedom on Tumblr for the 1000th time.
I can't even feel bad for the kid. It's already too late at this point. Even if he'll regret it in the future his fans or so-called friends will keep reassuring him that he has no regrets, that being trans is beautiful. Who's to tell on what people will coerce him to wear? To do? To believe? To get angry about? I know nothing can be done but it really sucks. It sucks that with how the internet is now, kids aren't able to actually be kids. I'll take a squeaker screaming at a sniper for "hacking" on TF2 any day than seeing a child discuss about things they have little understanding of other than just being told to care "for the greater good".
In the end, they're kids. Any kid can get easily influenced. That can't be stopped. Only the child themselves can change their mind on something. But there's a difference between a kid being easily influenced to run into swamps to chase alligators because they watched too much Steve Irwin and a kid being easily influenced into believe they're something they're clearly not and being endlessly whiteknighted because they're both a minor and now a minor
ity.
Plus, with how incredibly low the standards are with the requirements of being trans nowadays, this dude can very well get away with identifying as a woman online. So he doesn't have to actually "pass" whatsoever. Just go by "she/her" and occasionally ramble about trans rights and now you're a true trans woman or something.
