You don't explicitly state it but you seem to be implying that Rogan and now Asmon's sub downfall are because of lefties taking it over, when in both cases it wasn't.
What actually happened to Asmon's sub is that his reddit fanbase turned on him for just making bad content. I first noticed it over a year ago and finally posted about it in August
and here's an archive. Asmon, who is head mod, clamped down on all the negative posts and banning everyone. This caused most people to stop giving a shit and leaving. Now he has few real fans left in the sub to defend him from the bad faith shit that's posted and his average top upvoted posts every day are just a few hundred upvotes.
This is exactly what happened with Rogan's sub. It wasn't lefties taking over the sub. Rogan alienated himself from his fans by turning his podcast into absolute shit, developing a hilariously inflated ego and surrounding himself with obnoxious, unfunny Z-list comedy cronies like Brendan Schaub that also destroyed their own subs with drama, and putting out two of the worst reviewed comedy specials of all time. Then he had no one left to counteract the bad faith posts that he'd been protected from when he had actual fans posting in his sub.
Basically, both Asmon and Rogan's subs weren't taken over or ruined by lefties, lefties just moved into abandoned buildings and now it's more noticeable that they're there because they hang up all the HOPE & CHANGE posters on the walls.
