a miserable little pile of beans.
okay this got a good chuckle out of me, I gotta use this to insult my brother.

for the sake of clarity, I thought you were a scalp-taking based injun, not a spear chucker.
if we wanna get more technical, I have aztec in me, so I am a mix of everything, along with human sacrifice.

What is a Mexican? A white/native mix.

I also think that a lot of white people just end up with weird ideas, like that most natives live on reservations. Living on the rez is section 8 housing for natives.
why you gotta hurt me and remind me Im related to the Spaniards.

please tell me you don't think that native americans didn't use spears to hunt. dear god have we let our educational standards fall this low?
woah woah woah, ok yeah I see the point but the terminology implied differently

I don't know why people idolize Hollywood Royalty so much, they were terrible people (for 1950s standards they were whores) and set the stage for mass-indoctrination via the movies.
I doubt I'm the first one to say this but I think this might actually be @The Last Stand 's specialty.

d-double post, Technically we didnt use spears, but we used obsidian bats/swords more than we used spears. More war clubs/wooden bats with obsidian shards stuck in them.

I think alot of them forget that alot of us are just regular ass people still, but a bit more brown, and with black hair.
Do these people ever try to learn the language of our people? No.
Do they visit reservations and actively try to help fight the corruption that's rampant? No.
Do they do anything besides use us for brownie points? No.

These people could give less of a shit about us, and they show it by using us as stepping stones to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Hell, I have people say others aren't allowed to celebrate day of the dead because they aren't hispanic, fuck that, you're free to celebrate, just don't make an ass of yourself.
I'm afraid, my friend, you are effectively a fetish-doll (in the old sense) for these people. Probably in the new sense too, when I think of it.

I always find it funny when white people get horrified or indignant when I call feather Indians "Indians". Generally an education follows: "native" is no longer acceptable. "Indigenous People" is not acceptable. It's "First Nations". I always laugh and tell them I have hung around on dozens of Indian Rezzes and drank in tons of bars where everyone was Indian but me, and if I called them that, they'd kick the shit out of me and have no respect whatsoever.

Then I cease to exist in the brave white hero's mind and off I go to have some laughs about it with Indians I know.

Fun fact, city Indians are generally garbage, but country and rez Indians are reasonably cool, but pretty self-destructive to themselves and their own people. I always ask Rez Indians if they are "Cindy-ans", meaning City Indians. Always gets a laugh.

For me, it's less with the storytelling of old movies but more with the glamour and class that said actresses had from that timeframe. Also, many old movies have set the standard for their respective genres that may or may not have been replicated today. It's American ingenuity on the silver screen that shows the talent of directors and actors for anybody to experience.

They also never made bows until the white man taught them how. Forget about the Clovis shit
I forgot what the aztecs used for ranged combat, either bows or slings. I know the eagle warriors were basically ranged elite soldiers. On top of bows, we used something else, but it slips my mind

And they’re just beautiful.
Back when men and women actively tried to look polished and attractive and had class.
Blake Lively can’t hold a candle to prime Gloria Swanson

That’s interesting to think about, because the Spaniards didn’t make it EVERYWHERE. For instance, around San Francisco and Northern California, the white colonizers were Russians
Supposedly, our ancestor ran off with a highway man shortly before the conquistadors sped up the collapse of the empire, where we then proceeded to ping pong between mexico and texas for years, great grandpa was a tail rider for poncho villa, then we eventually decided texas was better than mexico, and permanently settled there.

but I most definitely have Spaniard in me

It's funny you say that. I was taking a small quiz on old Hollywood actors/actresses from some website. I could identify the women no problem, but the men I struggled with. Take that what you will.
They can get pretty same-y
Ken Doll Leading Man Who Clearly Isn't A Closet Case
Vaguely Ethnic Funny Sidekick
Really Fucking Ethnic Wacky Sidekick
Ugly Old Guy
and
Newsboy

people underestimate the damage you can cause with a sharp piece of rock or metal embedded in a stick.

hey no shade to YOU either way. people get misled about history all the time due to anachronistic paintings, bad school info, or just hearing something in passing. it was more funny to me to think our school systems might be teaching kids that amerindians were so technologically advanced they skipped spears.

Yeah but it was all fake. They were actors, it's in the job description. You watch your average 50s movie and it's like bullshit that didn't match up to reality. Chinatown couldn't have been done in 1957.
