Wow, imagine having to report to a boss what you've done for the week or else get fired. If only regular Americans had to deal with similar things every single week of their working lives.

The obvious reason everyone hates federal employees, even apart from how they get their money, is that they don't have to deal with the stresses that everyday people do. Watching them have to suffer in the same trenches, worrying about capricious bosses dictating their future, worrying they could be laid off even though their families depend on them, it's funny. It's super funny.

so much this
I almost feel for them as a fellow humans but then I remember they were the super special class and are just now getting dragged down to our level
Then I want to laugh and throw a bit of extra dirt on them for good measure

I would treat an illegal stealing my job with more respect than any federal employee by a mile. Most federal employees are ontologically evil, they will kneel on the neck of citizens for a dime. There is not a more cushy job than a federal job and your gravy train has derailed. Now it's time to realize what the rest of Americans go through in the private sector. Can't wait to see an ex-fed pushing carts or stocking shelves at Walmart.

Why are they taking it personally? I hate Ukraine, I hate Russia, I love the people though hate their government. Although these people work for the government, they are still American Citizens; we just hate the monster y'all work for and all the international bodies that should be filled with Americans. Obviously I'm not speakin' for everyone just myself.

TLDR: As always, Redditors need to touch grass more.

A key reason for the Democrats’ having adopted their supine posture is that, ten years into the Extended Donald Trump Experience, they are at a loss as to what else they might try. And, at this point, who can blame them? They warned the public that Trump was a threat to democracy. It didn’t work. They enmeshed Trump in a series of legal fights of varying legitimacy. It didn’t work. They tried to project Joe Biden’s age and senility onto Trump. It didn’t work. They insisted that, if Trump did win, it would be the result of America’s esoteric institutions — in particular, the Electoral College — and thus that it would not really count. It didn’t work. Worse still, Trump swept the swing states, won the popular vote, and put up unusually good numbers for a Republican among young people and minorities.

Things the Democrats haven't tried:

  1. Implementing policies that are good for the American people
  2. Reigning in their own fanatics
  3. Admitting they were wrong

Yeah it's a real mystery how they just can't beat Donald Trump.

I have a feeling a lot of the 60s Civil Rights era stuff was all lead by shadow government ops. Stuff like spotlights and eventually assassinating MLK, JFK, and Malcolm X. I'm not saying blacks didn't want the equality given to them by civil rights. I also don't think they have the brain power to sustain protests and marches on that level nationally for as long as they did.
I mean they got money from Communists, this is a known thing. An angry Japanese nationalist also funded a black liberation group in the US because he viewed blacks as destructive retards due how Black GIs treated Japan during the occupation.

I feel bad for them. I think a lot of them had to go into obscene amounts of debt to get education to even work for the gov in a lot of instances. I don't celebrate people not being able to provide for their children or becoming homeless. I think people need to be wary to fall into the schadenfreude that feels so good sometimes. One thing though, im kinda indifferent to the fact they'll have to deal with the shock of the private sector. applying to 500 jobs and getting a few call backs, especially being a white male. they'll have to deal with the conditions the machine they contributed to created, and i think it'll be real sobering for a lot of them. though i don't necessarily think they'll be objective about the experience in general.

Probably just gonna check who answers. You would be surprised how many people can fail to even pretend they did work.
This becomes even more apparent when you work in IT.

You can send all the reminder emails you want regarding a specific system or account change, but you will STILL have your phone ringing off the hook with people complaining that they can't access their stuff because of the very same changes they failed to read the bajilllion notices you sent them.

Hey, you know what they say about bed making. It's an overdue reality check that should have been done in 2008.
