The Harmful Opinions videos honestly weren't even that terrible, they didn't even watch them. The optimistic angle, separated from any sort of debate, would be to take the lesson that you should gatekeep legitimate grifters and MAPs (also grifters, judging by how they usually swarm to communities where children or useful tools to push their agendas are). MAPs are grifting off "free speech" defenses and discussions around censorship to slowly peddle their ideology to impressionable (or rather clueless) individuals or to mask their own presence.

The one fat lard guy that said something on the lines of "kodocon" in the video that HO reacted to, just doesn't sit right with me (Kodomo is a term meaning a child). Same for someone like Mr Cynical using sophistical (or rather twisted and loaded) arguments in his defense video. I'm glad that even outside of KF, that guy has a bad reputation, judging by his constant rebranding and account switching (with less followers).

Glad I don't watch "indie" vtubers, and find that most of these ones in particular are vapid.
