there was so much amazing content in those couple of days.
was there really..? the edits might help but it was just FH _again_ but worse due to an accelerated pace with a throw away cast that was way more normie with added frat energy (the vibe was already set when TTS came on before they even all had a chance to greet each other)... famous court was the only thing I was looking forward to at the end and that was just for cheap T.

(kill me now - we had to endure lots of shit like this)

started licking Teds seat
which is what his "baby bro" fans wanted him to do (and is getting him clips). Burt is willing to farm his"fame" out for as long as it goes.
his cope about the recent negativity he got for being openly "sexual" is hilarious though. I would have fully expected production to never invite him back but given his recent visit to the house I'm actually not sure about that anymore... fwiw when I had a look at https://fishtank.observer/ the day after it looked like he brought in around 6.5k in 24hs from tokens going with the most expensive rate (this however includes mints spamming a lot of shit, etc.).

lol @bg kumbi being in Burt's replies https://x.com/basedgodkumbi/status/1893373089955623087

I always felt it was doomed for failure as well. It took place around week 4, and at that point the audience is already expecting high intensity stuff. By introducing twelve nobodies it kind of takes the wind out of the shows sails and messes with the pacing. And that’s assuming everything goes to plan, which it didn’t. Even if best case scenario everyone adapts and the pacing can ramp up again within a few days by then there’s only a week left to do anything.

Getting to know the Fish takes quite a bit of time though. It’s not so bad when they’re slowly trickled in one at a time like with Connor or Jobe because you have the familiar faces of the Fish you already know present. They adapt to the environment instead of completing morphing it. They build on rather than destroy.

With famous house 2.0 the original Fish became the minority and couldn’t dictate anything because they were all reactive or psychotic introverts like Burt. It felt so overwhelming trying to find out who the new Fish were and what they were all about. And again, only two weeks remained. Production probably realized this which is why they kicked the show into top gear so fast, leading to a premature collapse. Everything was rushed.

And in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t worth it. Keeping Simbal or Alex would have been way more kino without wasting a total of 5 days doing nothing but cleaning only to fail and shift to rv tank. At the very least they could’ve brought Frank back to mess with the new Fish because they were all hated.

The show would always end with one autistic sped and a bunch of boring chicks that simps just wanted to fuck(ok that's how it ended up in S3 anyways). It's bad enough that boring chicks stay on the show too long because they rake in the simp bucks from gifts, I don't want the show to become more of a thirsttank.

What they need to do is fucking lay off their stars. Every season we have them pushing someone too hard for content, then capitulating them once they are over it. Jon, Cole then Jimmy, and Alex B, it's every season. Having Hassle immediately target Alex B after his wife is probably the most damaging thing to happen to season 3.
The only change I would make is making picking endorsements happen only once a week or whatever amount of time the wiggers choose. That way people don't just pick to simp and actually have to choose who they actually like and think are entertaining fish.

it's still amazing how many people call Famous House 2.0 what ruined the season when there was so much amazing content in those couple of days. Maybe it burnt out too quick, but it was definitely the most entertaining the show had ever been in the last two weeks of a run.
The only good things that came out of FH 2 were the fights. The Binx vs. Burt mean girl fight in the kitchen where she pelted him with food stuff and made him cry, I don't have videos of that.

was there really..?
Brandon Eviction, Thothunter General Luke and the mystery of the chopsuey fingers, just getting Luke back in general, "I want that black baby, because I'm racist", Alex Stein and AirsoftFatty being the best they ever have been on the show(Fatty was so much better gaslighting new Fish than being himself in Vegas), Alex Stein Rekieta posting to Burt, Burt shaving his entire body on cams, Burt being gaslit into being MAGA, we got a good week of Fishtank worth of content in like 3-4 days. Plus I'd argueably say Famous House 2.0 cast was better on average than 1.0, and especially more than what was left.

I think there was two big issue with Famous House 2.0:
  1. They didn't really have a plan besides the premise. Like going back to the gas light was boring, having the Fish try to act like they were new to all this was boring. Having it go back to boring social manipulation game generic reality show was boring. There should of been more of plan than having the Fish all act boring to not stand out and blend in.
  2. The remaining Fish besides Burt were bad. Binx was the worst, she just made money, but Sam literally had to bully her to do anything other than not react to all the craziness. Payton was boring and long last past her value on the show. Signal was the villain of the show, and him dealing with Luke being back was great, but of course he got kicked immediately, and Burt was the last thing carrying the show, also greatly supported by Luke's involvment.

That was the problem: it was supposed to last for two weeks but ended up fizzling out within a couple days. Most of the people brought in were vapid and the fish didn’t bother working together to get them out as intended, instead deciding to eliminate on of the only people left who actually put effort into the competitions. Symbal was a creep but he actually gave a damn about putting effort in, unlike Payton who just sat around most of the time.

Very true. With Jon he burnt out naturally due to the challenges but the others were pushed way too far: especially Cole. Jimmy losing to TJ was a huge blow to the season: he actually TRIED to be funny while nontent king TJ just sat around with his woman by his side for 99% of the show. The TJmaxxers were all self-inserting faggot redditors and it goes to show how after the tank he has done absolutely NOTHING. Alex B was legitimately mental so he would have been difficult to keep entertaining without going full psycho.
jimmy should've been able to beat up a guy half his size. sorry man.

we got a good week of Fishtank worth of content in like 3-4 days.
Maybe if you compare it to the depths of season two, but comparing it to the first three weeks of season three? Not even close. I think some arguments could be made it fell below some of the more average weeks of season one even. It really wasn’t that great. Not even good imo, but that might reflect my personal content tastes.

The more I think about it, the more I think that no planned eliminations is the best way to go. As has been previously mentioned, the vast majority of all exits in Fishtank history have been people crashing out or leaving on their own accord anyway.

Knowing there are eliminations coming makes the fish more defensive and makes them try to form alliances with each other which inherently reduces conflict - whereas I think if the show focuses more on "who can last to the end", it gives an excuse for both production and other fish to fuck with contestants and try to make them leave, which is way more entertaining. Shows like Big Brother and Survivor lean heavily into editing to build intrigue/suspense and withhold information to make the eliminations more entertaining whereas for a 24/7 live show we have full information at all times and it is incredibly predictable and boring.

No eliminations allows viewers to become more invested in their favorites because they aren't arbitrarily removed when the wiggers get a galaxy-gas-induced idea which will inevitably fall flat on its face anyway. And it means that the contestants remaining at the end will have had to endure more than simply just conspiring against the house villain. Plus, it gives production free reign to have their final challenges as a no-holds-barred, true test of endurance and will just like the cell was at the end of S1.

After the reveal but before his wife was brought in he said that he was willing to stay for the whole show so who knows what would've happened.
He was saying he wanted to be there and that he's too good for it simultaneously, he's a disingenuous piece of shit and that sort of cognitive dissonance is why he sticks with the ogre. For all Burt's sick and twisted sodomy and lusting over dudes he was at least forthright about that. It took us until the wife showed up to realize he huffs bbw latina farts.

It's part of why his degen shit is amusing, if not for how repetitive it's been. Usually people try to hide this sort of shit, and you don't find out about it until someone writes a Twitlonger about them, so how open he is with it is surprising. You'd think people figuring out the Jim O'Hara thing would have him panic or frantically reject it, but he confirmed it without even batting an eye.

An unintended side effect of both could be Fish playing an endurance game rather than going out of their way to sabotage others. Why be hostile to other Fish if it just puts a target on your back? In a way, the show already gives incentive to fuck with fellow contestants to make them leave, but at the end of the day the Fish are still complacent as it is the most effective strategy. I think alliances have influenced sabotage and betrayal just as much as they have reduced conflict. It depends on how much information the Fish are given.

Both extremes are bad. And it just goes to show how important rigging is. If eliminations are continued (and they likely will be) they should probably follow rules like:
  1. Contestant voting (if part of an elimination) needs to be completely anonymous to the Fish. This leaves room for backstabbing. Something like Simbal betraying Alex after seemingly allying with him is always good content. They already followed this in season three and it worked pretty well.
  2. Production should never tell the Fish about others scheming. They did this in season one with Letty and Vance stealing Jon's baby and it killed any motivation to act. If Production insists on stirring the pot, keep it vague or mention it in passing. Allow the Fish to have some plausible deniability.
  3. Make it a point to reward activity and do it in a way that isn't completely obvious. Production coming out and telling all the Fish outright, "If you're boring we're going to rig the vote for you," is too much. It makes the Fish try-hard and too self aware. Production needs to give crucial Fish immunity. They can accomplish this in a myriad of ways, but at the end of the day the subliminal message should be clear: Make content and you will be safe.
  4. Keep audience involvement regulated. The audience should never be able to decide directly who stays and who goes because the audience struggles with the long-term. One minute they'll love a content making Fish, the next they'll want them gone. If the audience were to decide eliminations in season one we would have had a Vance and Josie finale. They can influence the show in other ways, but they should never be able to completely derail it.
  5. Gaslight and lie to the Fish, but do it in a way that can never be exposed. Production is in the unique position of having the absolute trust of the Fish. They can use this to create drama even when none exists, influencing eliminations as a side effect. Make certain Fish feel like they're in Production's good graces so they're more likely to believe what they have to say. Be subtle in the gaslighting unless the targeted Fish is retarded. If Fish can verify if a Production created gaslight is true or not this can destroy any credibility Production has. No credibility means no power which means Fish begin to walk. If the Fish is retarded, do not let other Fish see the obvious gaslighting, otherwise credibility will be lost by extension.
  6. Use suspense to create content and engage the audience. Keep the audience on their toes. While certain votes might seem obvious, Production should never 100% guarantee what Fish is going to stay to us. A great example was when they eliminated Ian. They made it a point to frame it as if Alex was on the chopping block even though we knew he wasn't. Doing this worked as it made the audience sweat a little (even though we knew it was unlikely they'd kick Alex for no reason), and it played into Alex's content making insecurities. Production can use past examples of them subverting expectations to their advantage in order to play with the audience and keep them engaged.
  7. Avoid early/unexpected eliminations and keep a proper pace. The last thing you want is four Fish to leave within two days, as it can completely derail the show. If pacing is deviated from it breeds complacency among the Fish.
  8. Never let the Fish know how important they are. While this might work in some scenarios it's way too risky. Once a Fish understands they have power from their presence they will either become insufferable and use it to get their way or they will become complacent as they know they can coast. Either way it can blow up the show. Production can subtly favor certain kinds of Fish to create jealousy and conflict, but they should never tell them they are a shoe-in for the finale.
There's like a million other rules that could probably be created honestly.

I was half and half on voting eliminations as a concept until I saw FH2.0 and the way Simbal was eliminated. Love him or hate him, he was one of few fish left that brought content and the way he was kicked out of the house because all of the women collectively got the ick and decided to vote him out was unsatisfying (though it is kind of funny that all of the women got so collectively creeped out by the jeet that he was a bigger priority than the pedo). No crashout, no "FUCK THIS SHIT IM DONE" dramatic exit, just a boring vote.

Heres your weekly update on Jon's ADL. Its essentially over. Jon has recently had almost his entire production quit his show, and half the contestants also have quit by now. There was a big exodus of people a couple days ago after they all took issue with Jon's continued incompetence running the show, and the final straw for a few of them was when he didn't feed them for a whole day, took them outside and made them dig holes for a challenge (in which one got hit in the hand by one of the girls with a shovel and broke a finger), and then left them, 30 minutes from the house they are staying at on foot, with no cold weather clothing or even jackets, and told them they would be camping overnight since "Pweople cwamp aw yeaw wound in owegon" with no camping equipment. He then left them for hours in 22f weather while it got dark before finally showing up with mcdonalds to discover that a few people had given up and walked back to the house to quit the show, and is now claiming that they all failed "A test from god" this goes over it well https://x.com/SeanDSarcasm_/status/1893279613440098739 and also teases a behind the scenes documentary that skippy will be releasing going over what a dumpster fire the show was.

As a second part to this, one of the contestants, Mara, after quitting the show went off on Jon and his show in his kick chat, and was joined by Mac, the guy in the ski mask, who pretty much ran the show and quit the day before Mara did, in talking about all the retardation that happened during the show and calling Jon out. This led to today, and Jon is sperging out and them, and he is currently leaking DM's from Mara on twitter (https://x.com/JontentG/status/1893460804084867197) and currently in damage control mode.

Heres Jon coping about the whole situtation, saying if you dont believe in him you dont believe in god, how sleeping outside with no clothes, no camping gear, no food, is fine since he does it all the time, and that he knows how to cure hypothermia so even cares about that anyways.

In the early days of ADL all I saw when tuning in for short periods was Jon being domineering for no reason, over and over. His attitude is very bad in a leading position.
Their performative Christianity is also just strange. I am partial to Christianity in general and I don't see anything they do being very positive in a spiritual way. They had daily Bible reading as an activity. Reading the Bible is very baseline stuff, if they were serious they would do more, have sermons, exploring the meanings of passages. none of that. They just use the Faith to beat people down and shield themselves.

In order to deliver sermons and discuss faith, Jon would have to understand the words he sees on a page. They simply mean whatever he wants them to mean.

I remember how Baked Alaska used faked Christianity as an excuse to just be an asshole to people in public.

That Love America guy gives an impression of being a bargain bin Baked.
