I can fix her

Argued with a friend about this, fairly certain we were arguing past each other.
His argument was that middle schoolers are already having sex, despite being told not to, so it's better to provide protection and avoid unwanted pregnancy and life-destroying consequence, as well as avoiding the taxpayer drain of unwanted pregnancies.
My argument was that providing condoms is condoning the action, making it seem more culturally acceptable and permitted by an authority figure.

Do schools even bother telling kids not to have sex anymore or am I in the wrong here?
I don't know what the schools are like in your area with your friend, but most middle schoolers usually are not having sex. The only people I knew from middle school who had sex before they reached the age of 14 never turned out to be functional people with one exception. Such people are future tax drains guaranteed regardless of what you hand out to them.

High school is a different story. That's when the teen pregnancies started happening. That doesn't mean you should hand out the condoms anyway. If someone in high school is too retarded to ask their parents for a few bucks, and then use a few quarters to get a condom from the gas station bathroom then I don't see a future net taxpayer in society. The big problem I remember in my high school that was worse than the pregnancies was the STDs. Now I will say maybe half were just girls gossiping about each other and spreading rumors, but the other half I don't doubt. This is because a lot of the girls were on birth control anyway.

Hell I feel like your friend is even more wrong now than he would be say 20 years ago. Gen Z as a whole isn't having that much sex now, they weren't in middle school, and they weren't in high school. Maybe Gen Alpha is different but I doubt it.

Of course, sex education is important, but not handing out condoms. Is there any fucking middle ground for anything anymore? You can teach a 7th grader what a condom is without giving them one. I do feel like the whole "wait till marriage" just won't work anymore. People aren't as religious as they used to be, and I know that shit is probably going to get a lot of eye rolls from most of the kids in the class except the few going to church.

I honestly don't know what could be done. Low-IQ people are going to do low-IQ things and get pregnant at 14. Hand them condoms and you just delayed it by her becoming a single mom at 19 instead of 14. A slightly better outcome I guess.

From my impressons there, Taiwan is usually pretty hands off on prostitution. It is still illegal and underground, but they usually only go out of their way to bust it if you are either being extremely obvious about it or doing something extra illegal that is worth the authorities time like slavery, human trafficking, or pimping underage girls.

So her being wanted for a prostitution ring could mean she is wanted for something more serious than just that on its face.

German polls are closed. CDU/CSU dominated the exit polling with AFD in second place
What I've taken from the German elections is the US must at all costs resist any attempt to institute a parliamentary system here. I've seen the idea floated before and as broken as our system is, a parliamentary system would permafuck us and stick us with eternal rule by a sliding scale of leftist ideology.

Was that the expected result?
If AfD comes in second, all the other parties will either form a coalition or they will instruct their respective constituents to vote for the opposing party to "block hate."
This exact scenario has been happening in France for decades.
The far-right in second place is a guaranteed win for the party in first place.

Inb4 entire subdepartments get the axe because they didn’t reply to the email :story:
Yeah, this is analogous to how the speed limit and the fact that everyone breaks it as a matter of course (even just to safely match the speed of traffic) means that the police can pull over pretty much whoever they want, whenever they want.

Now DOGEers can pick whoever they want to fire without giving any other justification.

They have mail in ballots sooooo....
The adulteration of a mail vote should be punished by an execution done by commandos. But I don't trust those Kraut officials not sticking their hands in there, acting like a gay and commie version of the Gestapo.
History rhymes, and it's prose is straight out of AO3

A friend of mine contacted me in hysterics about this. I told him it's easy to comply with, and noncompliance makes him easy to fire under federal employment rules. After some back and forth, with me trying to be patient and neutral (but pretty clear that the President is the head of the Executive Branch, and he can give orders you think are retarded), he blocked me on every platform, including texts.

Why are liberals like this?
I don’t know why some of you guys even have friends like this. As much as I’d like to be friends with people despite political differences, they don’t feel the same way. And I can’t even say faggot and nigger with them around. I’m very choosy on who I interact with.

How about those depressed autists pick kiwis? I know this guy named Iban who’s good at overseeing autists farm, he should lead this effort. We can even call it something like Kiwifruit Agriculture? Or CWC Forums? Idk what would be the word for it.
I think he has a codename, like "Invalid" or something.

So lots of federal departments (FBI, DoJ, NOAA, State, CDC) are telling their staff to ignore Elon.

Federal agency bosses tell workers to ignore Musk's demands for proof of accomplishments

I don’t think you guys are gonna get total fed death yet.
So the email is probably another layer of test, to see if they are able to read the room

If I were a manager and had an easy way to get rid of the absolute deadweight in my agency, I would be emailing all of them much the same. Useful employees would not even receive a separate email because I can already trust they've emailed their list of accomplishments. Meanwhile my email of what I've done this week would start with the following bullet-point:
  • Made it easier for you to fire 37 complete oxygen thieves that we would all be better off without.
