This video by cultural/political commenter Vee hits on something I find sad about Ya Boy. If you've never heard Vee before, ignore the squeaky Mickey Mouse voice. He lives in Romania and has the typical contempt for leftism you find in most people with IQ > 100 in the former Communist Bloc.

Vee is talking about a "centrist" named Short Fat Otaku who was mostly criticizing Cancel Culture pre-2024, but now is very upset about DOGE and USAID and how the right is "being just as bad as the leftists". Now, imo Zack's ongoing meltdown has very little to do with principles and everything to do with professional envy. However, I do think Zack is maybe 5% coming from a genuine confusion over the current political climate. In Zack's mind, the left steamrolled the culture unopposed for 30 years and effected huge changes but as of Nov 2024, the changes have been mostly halted. Therefore, all the loosely organized groups that opposed leftism must disband because the battle is over! The fact the giant bureaucracy of DEI still utterly dominates academia and every Fortune 500 HR department and the entire federal government and Hollywood and all Europe... well, it would be 'bullying' to take steps toward actually stamping this out the way DOGE is actually (and impressively) doing.

Critical Drinker, etc. will lose relevance if they continue the exact same context AND if the culture actually changes. But we're 3 fucking months after a narrowly-won election (1.5% popular vote and a couple of seats in Congress and the Sentate isn't a "landslide". Reagan was a landslide. Nixon '72 was a landslide). All the apparatus that created the problems are still in place and unpunished for all the outright treason they've pulled since 2017.

Treating people fairly who have proven to absolutely abuse you when they have power isn't being a "decent human being", it's being an idiot who's just delaying his demise once they regain power (and history proves they will regain it, it's just a matter of when).

Zack & Shirt Fat Otaku were never Republicans nor conservative. For Zack he wasn't consooming media for almost 20 or so years being a marine. When he came to the marine he saw his hero spiderman being a mulatto, captain america is black, all the original black characters are gay. Proverbs 25:21-22 says that we should show mercy to our enemies
" If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; 22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you."


The funny thing about this verse is that:
1) Mercy can only be given after domination i.e all other avenues for your enemy are exhausted
2) This mercy should NOT come at the detriment of yourself
This verse is often miss attributed by atheists and"leftist Christians" like everything else in the bible with no real concern for the context. I assume this is what Meyer is trying to invoke.

This is a pretty strong endorsement. Odd, Richard didn't seem to think he was just a hateful Englishman who deserved to have his Country nuked for not liking movies, and talking about the message... So what happened? I don't know for sure, but maybe the fact that Drinker's books got out before everything else, maybe the fact Drinker's name sold most of those comics, maybe some Froggit got in his ear about toeing the line if he wanted to stay in good graces with the CG mafia? Who knows. Because it's clear to me that cutting ties with those people is proving to be less lucrative the more it goes on. He had overlapping fans with EVS and the CG crowd, same with the FNT crowd, and even though all the FNT crowd has done was... not like something Richard likes, whereas CG actively engages in gayops and attempts to shut down fellow indie businessmen, he chose to stick with CG. Hm. Well, you don't gain any extra fans from CG since they are already here - but you DO lose a whole lot of fans from FNT who would have been fine for you to disagree, but stay out of the shit-slinging, and now see the one-sided attacks as unhinged - I'm sure that totally won't fuck up your bottom line when it comes to your next 4 year long project endeavor Richard. Here's something I'm not proud to admit but I bought the Drinker Combo back in 2022. Drinker's book came. The other two books aren't even here yet after two and a half years. I'm never giving Zack my money ever again and if someone still does they're an idiot.

Zack is clearly jealous that Drinker is much more successful, competent at business and delivering a product then Zack has ever been.
