The perpetrator was Nino Luciano, a German-born subject of a Romanian psych ward. He was a member of 764 and the Maniacs Murder Cult and filmed himself murdering the old lady in order to earn his "maniac" status from them.

ED: Y'know, with a little bit of historical context, it's not hard to understand why 'jeets get crushed under heavy machines so often. Someone did a research paper or maybe their thesis on the real world statistics of Russian Roulette (Did you know the speed of chamber spin will determine the degree of gravitational effect?) and they included multiple trigger pulls on their statistics graph.
"Why the hell would you pull the trigger multiple times?" I wondered and this lead me down a rabbit hole of morons who watched The Deer Hunter too many times.

The gangland "opposed" story I found was pretty. Where I guess two young hoods were fighting over a female and it had resulted in gun shots being fired (but no one hit) and so the gang leader sat them both in the room and did something "He learned from new york" (he was impling it to be something the Italian Mafia did). The hoods started out "fuck you, nigga" pulling the trigger multiple times to make the other kill himself on his turn. But after playing a few rounds they feeling mortality creeping up on them, and were just doing one click, then mutually decided 'the bitch wasn't worth it' told the gang head they didn't want to do this no more. Head relented and had them both agreed they would stay away from the female in question and they'd be shot dead if they didn't. One of them didn't and was shot like a year later - potentially unrelated to gangland punishment, but the Head made it seem like that was reason (but no one in the gang took credit for it)

There was a similar situation over some other bullshit, I think it was stake in a corner or they both bought a chain or something, but that time the nigger who went first blew his brains out on the first shot. So the other nigger got his chain back or whatever it was they were fighting over. Problem solved I guess.

I also heard that the blast from a blank would break your skull and didn't list it as a consequence because I thought that was just myth. But when I was looking up the (previously) most note worthy Russian Roulette death, apparently that's exactly what happened.

I knew it would kill but I had only known for sure that pressure wave causing internal bleeding and/or "the shit you didn't realize was between the charge and the target giving absolutely zero fucks that you loaded a blank", I didn't realize a would do enough skull damage to send bone into your brain. So I guess I need to add that back into my RR spergbank.
