I’ve been slacking on this long enough. One account that I’ve been recommended multiple times is this Akhts. And believe me when she says she’s loud about being aromatic and asexual. (Qpr stands for “queerplatonic relationship. It’s like…a friend crush or some shit, or just having a best friend from what I’ve gathered).

It seems to mostly consist of being upset that romantic relationships exist/are super common.

I asked if adults actually do this (since I'd only seen it with my brother and his friend when they were young, stupid teens), and apparently it's just like that. Sometimes your friend gets a partner/spouse, and they might have less time to spend with you because of scheduling, especially if they have a kid. That's just a part of life.

I tried scrolling for a specific one I saw ages ago about her being so giddy about getting representashun in the form of two characters just being friends, but it all kinda blended together. Especially since so, SO many of these comics are just WORDS WORDS WORDS. And yes, the main characters are always wearing those flags.

So this whole comic is basically "I'm an attention seeking—" as with any other ace/asexual/aroace comic these sort of people make to make themselves feel special. For God's sake, man. There is nothing, and I mean, NOTHING, special and unique about not wanting to date anyone or have sexual feelings. If it's normal as y'all say, make it BE normal and not treat it like it's some third disease from some foreign country.

And yes, QPR is literally just being close friends with someone. But this godforsaken community gotta treat it as a quirky label to add some """spice"""' to their lives.

(:_(

New short from the bootleg JotaKak cartoon dropped!

You will never be a real 2000s cartoon.

Great animation, though. That's all else I can say.

"aroace and loud about it" is just another term for "EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ABOUT ME"

Technically not art but a cartoon. Popped up in my feed. Tl;dr: a character in this cartoon crossdresses so he can replay a role he once did as a man, because the movie he's trying to star in is all female. At the end his deception is revealed but the directors decide to cast him as the villain. Of course, somehow, this is transphobic, even though at no point is it implied or stated that the character who crossdresses wants to be a woman.

There is making your orientation your entire personality and then whatever this is.
I have a theory that people love to brag about that because they see any form of human interaction as flirting, specially when it involves human interactions.
Also that last comic really kinda comes off as those of "trying to make themselves look good/like the victim but comes off as an an asshole"

Tread tax:

Squid sisters but it really just looks like OCs cosplaying as them.
