To be fair, Battlemechs aren't supposed to be operating on their own unless it's a strike team taking out a poorly defended pirate base, rebels, or small advance enemy units or the like. For any larger engagement they might have their own aerial, artillery, mechanised and even infantry support. Not to mention that the heavier mechs, notably the Annihilator in my own experience, is a big hefty piece of asswhoppin', but it's extremely slow and will be destroyed before half the mission is done if you haven't got some quicker lancemates with you.
Don't disagree with you in principle, it's just that usually there'd be bombers/friendly artillery standing ready to pound any enemy artillery, so the big heavy mechs end up acting like very heavily armoured bait.
Reminds me of the Giga-Fortress in Red Alert 3, which is a super-unit employed by the Imperial Japanese faction. It's a heavy warmech that can either take the form of a warship bristling with laser cannons and missile launchers, or a floating Gundam head that shoots a powerful, long-range beam from its mouth. Deployed correctly, it can practically burn down the enemy base like a siege weapon, but if you rely on it and only it, a team of dedicated AA units can take it down. When I played the Commander's Challenge missions, I used my Giga-Fortresses backed up by warships, power-armored shock-troops with rocket launchers and jetpacks, and even psychic schoolgirls (LOL). These units helped cover the massive unit, which allowed my Giga-Fortresses to burn down the enemy base with little effort.
But in the mission where you fight the Giga-Fortress, the rookie Japanese commander sends her Giga-Fortresses out to attack your base alone, making it easy for some dedicated AA units to surround and kill it, and the same goes for the Giga-Fortresses that she has lounging around the map alone or with little escort. She lost at least eight Giga-Fortresses to my forces before the mission was over, and those things are on record as the most expensive units in the entire Command & Conquer franchise. That mission was far easier than some of the other missions where you fight the Japs, (some of them can get nauseatingly difficult, especially the ones where the Japs team up with other factions like the Americans and the Russians,) and at the end, she gets so pissed off that she lost so easily, she gives you the Giga-Fortress out of spite, saying that it didn't help her. (It's the mission that unlocks the Giga-Fortress for your use.)
I figured you would enjoy that.
That I did.
From what I've been seeing about a certain individual, they have some ties to booth babes. I don't want to divulge too much information since Danny reads this thread.
Then Danny-boy should know what it takes to be a good Christian, since I've explained it in detail here. The fact that he doesn't do it goes to show that he either doesn't give a fuck about what we say, or he doesn't give a fuck about being authentic with the Faith.
I'm sure you remember Danny's stream where he announced he would leave Arizona if his person didn't win. The stream was up for months when Allosaur pointed out that retardation and Danny nuked the stream.
The difference is, DP Harris' condemnation of the Korean booty game was made public, so even if he did erase all condemnation of it from his X account and his video record, others have records of it that they can easily slap back on his face thanks to the Goonergate fiasco.
