America hasn't bee the most powerful nation on the planet in a while because our industrial capacities have been destroyed by our government. Ideological capture of both the Republican and Democratic parties has slowly destroyed the country. At this point making peace with Putin is a great idea.

America has been weakened. I wouldn't say we aren't A superpower, but we aren't The Superpower. This is a point of pride Americans are going to have to drop if we are going to reverse this decline. You can't fix a country that doesn't admit it is broken.

My cousin recently stopped talking to her Mom again, beacuse apparently my Aunt's SNAP and Medicaid might be getting cut and she wants sympathy, which my cousin won't offer. Of course, she voted for every Republican who runs the State she lives in, and also Trump. She genuinely doesn't understand why her gibmes that she's been on for thirty years are being slashed.
