WASHINGTON – Today the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) sent a letter to the Maine Department of Education Commissioner Pender Makin announcing that OCR is initiating a directed investigation of the Maine Department of Education (MDOE) amid allegations that it continues to allow male athletes to compete in girls’ interscholastic athletics and that it has denied female athletes female-only intimate facilities, thereby violating federal antidiscrimination law. The letter also notifies MDOE that OCR is launching an investigation into Maine School Administrative District #51 (MSAD #51), after it was reported that Greely High School, a school under its jurisdiction, is continuing to allow at least one male student to compete in girls’ categories.

This follows President Trump’s February 20 remarks at the Republican Governor’s Association dinner that Maine risks losing federal funding if it continues to allow transgender males to participate in female sports.

“Maine would have you believe that it has no choice in how it treats women and girls in athletics—that is, that it must follow its state laws and allow male athletes to compete against women and girls,” said Craig Trainor, Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights. “Let me be clear: If Maine wants to continue to receive federal funds from the Education Department, it has to follow Title IX. If it wants to forgo federal funds and continue to trample the rights of its young female athletes, that, too, is its choice. OCR will do everything in its power to ensure taxpayers are not funding blatant civil rights violators.”

State laws do not override federal antidiscrimination laws, and the MDOE and its schools remain subject to Title IX and its implementing regulations. In addition to MDOE, the Department earlier this month announced directed investigations into the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), both of which publicly announced plans to violate federal antidiscrimination laws related to girls’ and women’s sports.

If you said University of California, to the tune of 4 billion dollars, you would be correct. And as a land grant university system they also get a fair bit of that from USDA, I'm not sure exactly how much but I expect to see a letter to them next.

I really wonder how Gavin will fare here. He called emergency meetings in response to Roe being overturned, but that law just freed up individual states to choose their own laws rather than directly imposing conservative restrictions. Will he be able to prevent ICE agents from doing their duties here? Will he be able to keep federal funding while pandering to men beating up ladies in their own sports? One benefit of all this coverage is that the dollar amounts of the gov gibs get revealed. $100 million from the USDA to U Maine alone? They're probably getting other gibs too, from the DoE. In general, Maine gets a quarter of its "revenues" from the US gov. $5.7 billion total.

It never ceases to boggle me that trannies are so idiotic about basic things like identification. Especially considering the constant screeching they do about being genocided.

Consider this: Suppose a tranny gets abducted or goes missing or whatever the hell, and he/she/it/ze/que is later found unresponsive, brain-damaged, comatose, OR DEAD. Their physical, biological features will be necessary to identify them. No tranny surgery yet crafted, as far as I know, can make a male pelvis look like a female pelvis or vice versa, and no gene or drug therapy that I've heard of can change DNA from XY to XX.

Think about that: If your dessicated corpse turns up hatecrimed somewhere, how will people know it's you, if you were born with a penis but you falsified all your documents worldwide to claim you're a girl? Correct me if I am wrong, but surely there must have been an instance of a man lying about being a woman, trying to use a female birth certificate or other official documents in at least one case of fraud?

Not necessarily a troon or trans identifying individual, but someone who had something to gain by claiming to be a female, such as inheritance, or before the current controversy, trying to enter a woman’s sporting event?

The point being that it likely already is set precedent?

That's good news, but I have to say, I really want to see a resounding win for Sandie that isn't based on a "technicality" or what we will see are other NHS Trusts just using this as a learning exercise and continuing this sort of insanity with impunity.

Big Gay Al is making this about blocking trannies from entering the US.

It is solely about keeping men from entering the US while coming to compete as a woman where a visa is required.

It has nothing to do with what people have on their identification. It has to do with entering the US under fraudulent pretenses.

If some Canadian tranny wants to enter the US to play in the WNBA, he won't be allowed to do that because he'll need a visa and men aren't eligible to get that visa to play women's sports. He can enter the US to travel because he doesn't need a visa for that.

I'd be extremely surprised if there hasn't, but it would only be a matter of time.

One fraud in Europe at the moment is to "build" a new identity using a gender changed birth certificate, which essentially removes past crimes and bankruptcies.
It also allows paedophiles to avoid the sex offenders register and gives them a "clean slate" for CRB checks and access to a fresh group of victims.
