If EJ was making bad comics, he would never have grown his business. He was neither a pioneer of CG like Zack nor an established creator like EVS. He was just a YTer with a respectable following but nothing great. Basing you entire sales pitch on the fans wanting to spite the mainstream does not work. Exhibit A: Zack. Exhibit B: EVS.

It's tracking consistently lower than Ant-Man and the Quantumania of Solace. Which ended it's 5 month (fuck me) run at only 476 million. Are people like Richard so desperate for a win they are actively going to show themselves being publicly retarded just to say "it's number 1 in the world!" While nothing else has come out to oppose it?
If they sucked so bad, people would not be buying them. Getting things on time does not help if what you got sucks. Either people liked the comics and want more or they do not like them and will not buy again. This is not like Spiderman where it is a big enough name to make the completionist argument. The market as a whole has decided against buying things they do not like. EJ's expansion is unrealistic for something that is not liked.he is making bad comics. Let there be debate about that But, he is getting his books in people’s hands in a reasonable amount of time while pandering to his fan’s worldviews. That combination right there is what is making him boatloads of money right now.
The balls on this guy.CYBERFROG 3: RED EXTERMINATION is the long awaited third installment in the CYBERFROG saga!
Jon Malin is becoming LiamIf anyone is still following mainline EVSCG and the Slums, it's worth checking out Jon Malin's stream last night or Lord Raptor Jesus's commentary on it. Jon Femalin absolutely sperged out.

Funniest bit of LRJ was 4 hours 40 minutes in.
uhhh, six fucking hours?
We are going to have to agree to disagree, because ISOM 1 and 2 were as generic as they come. With bland art and your titular character getting his ass kicked in the first issue and then going to some boring ass ranch to get a pep talk or some shit. Then in part 2 the cover shows him fighting big hulk like character with dreads, only that didn‘t happen in the book cuz it was a flashback and instead we get him fighting some generic demons with a witch lady(admittedly, I like her character design.) But, it generated no interest in me buying the third issue. Alpha Core was ok to me, anything that Chuck Dixon writes I fuck with.If they sucked so bad, people would not be buying them. I just got a shipment notification from Indiegogo about 'Supervillains Anonymous' shipping out. I didn't recognize the title but apparently I backed it in February 2021. Still faster than Reignbow Brute but jeeze . It was some Adam Friended thing. The name sounds familiar but now I don't remember who that was. I suppose I'm glad he at least eventually shipped it and didn't just let it go when everyone forgot about it. Or at least, when I did. That's still quite a bit of time though.
Edit: Speaking of emails, I also got some advertising spam from EVS.
The balls on this guy.
Sounds like a You problem.I can't tell if you're fucking with me or if you're legitimately slow.
That's true. I've seen lots of reviews "that I actually looked for" and quite a few of them said what they liked about it. The whole "most of the audience is right wing" or "they buy them just to own the woke" appears to be a narrative they came up with in order to cope with his success and growing fan base. Honestly entitlement like that really is gay, like @FROG gay....big time. Plus I also find out that people on the left enjoy them too. He's doing just fine for himself. If they sucked so bad, people would not be buying them. Getting things on time does not help if what you got sucks. I'm not. The man is completely untrustworthy and his audience were retarded for even considering giving him money for something he's not delivering.
Sounds like a You problem.
@Rupin ok..... What you just said was probably one of the dumbest things I've heard today. Not to mention that sounds like everything his haters say as well. If you seriously consider his work generic, than that right there tells me your taste is terrible. I'm not a fan of him and I'm more on middle when it comes to political views, in fact I hate politics in general and yet somehow I was able to enjoy it. Funny thing huh? Just say you don't you don't like him and move on, at this point I have yet to hear "one" good reason not to like him or his books. If anything you sound like a broken record from the rest of the CG freaks. Also you're crying over a hairdo? Talk about retarded....SHEESH. Tell me you don't do research without actually saying it.
Well if you don't support them, you're better off not repeating them. Also nitpicking artwork is also useless, they're complete nothing burgers and it's not constructive in any way shape or form. I never see anyone do it with any other company, not even Iconic....tells me much. Also I'm not going to read over 2,000 plus threads, especially when most of it is either opinionated or old news. I don't support CG NOR do I support the Rippaverse, but considering all the stuff I see it get criticized for is....well garbage to say the least, I definitely can see some biasm coming from you. Not ALL his haters are CG, THAT I figured out way before you said anything...BUT they STILL have extremely bad taste and clearly suffer from that derangement syndrome I see going around. Honestly calling somebody's work bad when it isn't is just gay, let's not pretend otherwise. This is a thread about comic books and creators that are connected to CG. We talk about their books here. Depicting women with haircuts like that(which are now ten years out of fashion) is one of the reasons why CG picked up so much steam in the first place. No one here supports CG, so lurk a little before posting.
And all the points I have spoken about in my response to @Incecticyder were already bought up already in this thread when they were pointing out how bad the artwork in some of the panels were.
Oh pleaseYou’re in the wrong thread then if you think nitpicking art work is a nothing burger. That‘s how we find out if an artist using 3-D models a la Cliff Richards in the ISOM books or if an artist is using photo realistic backgrounds like @FROG does for his trees in Cyberfrog books.
And speaking of criticism, we all here have seen exactly how EJ responds to criticism of his books.
But you like his books, so do you. Not everyone has to feel the same way as you.
@Rupin I'm not mad, I'm just not stupid. If a nobody like me can see it, you can bet you ass other people can too.Well if you don't support them, you're better off not repeating them. Also nitpicking artwork is also useless, they're complete nothing burgers and it's not constructive in any way shape or form. I haven't read them but I have watched reviews by non-tards and they look like generic mid comics, nothing to write home about but also not so bat it's "a threat to art itself" which is why it's funny to watch Richard and EVS have a multi year long meltdown over it.If they sucked so bad, people would not be buying them. Getting things on time does not help if what you got sucks. Either people liked the comics and want more or they do not like them and will not buy again. So slow then. LolSounds like a You problem.

As for Yaira, that comic was baaaaaaad… Once you get past the great cover art, you get subjected to the story is hard to follow and the main character is not likable at all.
And there is no excuse to have a character that looks like this in your comic when your fanbase is mainly right wingers.

I am not saying that EJ's comics are good or bad. I am saying that continued success requires some level of quality which Eric's comics apparently do have. I am not saying they are excellent. I am not saying they are the most original. I am not saying everyone of them has been a hit. I am saying that they are not bad. Not calling them good either. Just pointing out that he must be doing something right that gives people faith in him. That is all. His work ethic and everything else are important in his success but they need to be paired with quality to actually succeed. I think that most readers knew to expect "amateur hour" from, well, an amateur so they bit that bullet and hoped for future improvement.I haven't read them but I have watched reviews by non-tards and they look like generic mid comics
Every hero post 2000 is generic. It is generic. What part about Isom sets him apart from other heroes?
