Dunno man maybe it depends on what you consider propaganda, progressivism, and the necessity for distinctions to be defined as easily as demarcations on a map so that dullards can have it spoon-fed to them.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some franchises start out with a lot less overt political messaging and get turned into unrecognizable horse-shit slop like Dragon Age.

People simultaneously need to put the thinking cap on and loosen the band on it as it's a bit much to think of things in black and white, or want things to have clear demarcations in all respects. I get the autism rate is up to 1/23 or whatever but most of us still operate on common sense, I hope.

Worthy of note that all creative works are of their creators and such will have 'propaganda' in them unless it's specifically watched for during the creative process, and even then in writing a narrative it's pretty much inevitable.
