What pisses me off is that they make everything else about using them easy for retarded people (while making power users cling to older, less locked down devices like the fucking One Ring) but, like you said, things like changing a battery aren't easily done by the normie masses. It's not just Apple, although the trend is mostly on them and their users, in my opinion. The "iphonification" of android has resulted in the same thing in that ecosystem, much to my own chagrin. And the same thing for Windows and "macification." The Windows UI is a disjointed mess, because of their retarded, gradual, piecemeal approach to making a "mac" or "phone" like user experience.
Everything must endure enshitification, for the benefit of the retarded. Nothing can be maintained, throw it away and buy a new one (planned obsolescence, profit isn't printed when you don't need a new device every year or two). Hell, remember fixing your own car or washing machine? Remember 100k mile auto warranties? Fuck no, you don't, if you aren't old enough.
Playskool colors and rounded corners so the kids dont hurt themselves. When they break their toys, they can just buy more.
