Also, the way that brown couch sagged is practically craterous! I doubt it was exactly a high quality piece of furniture worthy of family heirloom status, but her disrespect for other people's belongings always finds new ways to surprise me. Some of the pieces she's sitting on are at least $1800, and while that's not exactly craftsman-tier cost depending on the piece of furniture, we're not really living in an economy where $1800 is something to turn your nose up at for many, many Americans. Anna may not have been born swaddled in silk with a silver spoon in her mouth, but she certainly doesn't have any respect for the value of a dollar.

I’ve searched long and hard for a 1 word description of her but it’s hard to settle on just one. The closest I can get is obnoxious, followed by self centered and oblivious.

I can’t begin to convey how my parents would have died of embarrassment and punished me appropriately if I’d acted like she does in stores and other public places.

It's the strongest indication that Anna is still extremely solvent, IMHO. She knows that if she breaks something and the store cracks the shits, all she needs to do is throw money at them and they'll be mollified. If she didn't have the money, she'd be a lot more careful about her surroundings.

Why can't Anna just go to Costco and stop pushing and shoving and trampling other shoppers to get to the front of the free samples line shop without it being some photoworthy spectacle of ultra retardation? I don't get it. Why so many antics? Why can't she just test out a few MASSIVE sofas to make sure they'll hold the weight of her MASSIVE THIGHS and then carry on with things instead of turning everything into a theatrical production that nobody wants to see or hear?
