Thanks for the kind words. I genuinely enjoy arguing with the people here. I don't take anything personally and most of my most inflammatory posts are because it's Internet shit posting. Even using Trumpniggers is just a fun jab. I understand the hyper reactionary response to the shit we've dealt with for the last twenty years. I understand the desire for a strong man to come in and just "fix it." I get it, I really do. I even agree with the vast majority (with some exceptions) of Trump's policy positions, but I consider it my job to stand on my Originalist principles and scream into the void because I think hugboxes are cringe.
If it makes you feel any better, the only reason I consistently argue against Trump's policies here is because this is a primarily pro-Trump space. In other groups I will argue for Trump policies I agree with against lefties.
Like I said, earlier, if we go with Elon's new goal of $1tr in savings and say that tariffs will bring in a (massively optimistic) $1tr in revenue, the issue is still there.
My goal was to point out the obvious absurdity of trying to sell US passports for $5m a pop and marketing it as something which will help reduce the national debt. That's retarded.
