Eh, a little bit of column A little bit of column B. His domestic policies look very modern Republican with some old democratic twists. Basically his plan was to slash taxes for both American corporations and the individual, reducing the tax brackets to be lower on both high and low ends. He also planned on expanding infrastructure (mind you, this was in the 60s when some of the poorest parts of the US still didn't have running water) in historically poorly served areas of the country, he specifically focused on Appalachia, to make them more prosperous so that even with a reduced tax burden, the individuals would be more prosperous, which would make up for it. Basically the idea of "20% of $100,000 is more than 30% of $60,000." He also wanted to provide tax breaks for anyone starting a small business with plans to hire additional people.
