All doctors who have been able to change their gender on the register still have their accurate fitness-to-practise history displayed and no records have been wiped or suppressed, the watchdog said.
Any "doctor" who changes their gender should automatically be barred from treating patients as they have been captured by an ideology that flies in the face of reality, truth, science and biology.

Big Gay Al is making this about blocking trannies from entering the US.

It is solely about keeping men from entering the US while coming to compete as a woman where a visa is required.
Well, as travelling with a false document is illegal, it should apply to anyone regardless of whether they are attempting to take part in sporting events or not.

Trannys don't add anything positive to the overall economy, so it's not like their presence would be missed.

I don't disagree with any of this. But I do disagree with Big Gay Al claiming that what we are hoping for is coming true.

I mean it is fraud though. If you're lying on official documents what else do you call that?
The whole point of ID is to confirm someone's identity.
Theres an easy answer, just don't be fucking dishonest, don't lie.
You can claim to be whatever the fuck you want, man, woman, exhalted ambassador of galactic warlord Xenu for all I fucking care, but you can't have that shit on official ID documents meant to identify you.
No one is saying they can't have their delusions.
They just can't have them "validated" on official paperwork.
And yeah, if someone fills out a visa application with false details, fucking right they should be banned from entering.
It's not complicated.
Jesus they really don't call this dude Big Dumb Gay Al for nothing, huh?
I think my biggest pet peeve is falsifying established documents that only dryass bureaucrats see. With State ID, Drivers License or Passport, anyone that checks your ID will see it; not just cops, but grocery clerks taking a credit card or check, bank tellers, Mr. Sanjeet down at the 7-11 selling you a bottle of hooch... They do have a point that the prevalence of ID checking surpasses the scope of doctors sworn to HIPAA and legitimate authority figures (that they don't often trust anyways). To me, the far more egregious action was allowing them to doctor their birth certificates. Birth certificates aren't a valid form of ID, that's the form you need to get a valid form of ID. That ideally should be a stone-written document proving the time/place/status of your birth, your parentage of birth, and the medical staff that delivered you. To change a birth certificate's sex should require a chromosome sex test proving the doctor or his clerical staff screwed up. Names should be unchangeable on birth certificates.

As much as I really don't care about drivers' licenses displaying a vanity "gender" rather than biological sex, we've all seen how they take a mile when presented with an inch. They've been doctoring their birth certificates, they've been weaseling Olympic committees to go by a chosen passport gender instead of actual biological sex for womens' sports, and at this point even the moderates are sick of it. They need to be knocked down a peg, and if it means clocking themselves whenever they buy Robitussin or get pulled over, so fucking be it.

Sounds like companies making rapid DNA analysis machines are going to have a good 3.8 years.
I am telling you the company that can make a DNA tester that plugs into your phone and runs an app is going to make billions.

Meet date at bar.
Order date a drink.
Wait till date finishes drink.
Grab empty glass and say "Let me pop up to the bar and get you another one of those."
Once out of sight run swab over glass and put into Sex Machine or what ever they call the scanner.
Wait for results.
If result matches what was claimed, order your date another drink.
If result is not what was claimed, exit building with great speed.

This sounds complicated. I think it'll be a tissue that turns either pink or blue, like a pool water quality test strip.

"Wilson spoke only to confirm the preferred pronouns of 'she/her'"

It's about time the UK started taking this shit seriously and stop pandering to these perverted freaks.

That's good news, but I have to say, I really want to see a resounding win for Sandie that isn't based on a "technicality" or what we will see are other NHS Trusts just using this as a learning exercise and continuing this sort of insanity with impunity.

Sandie is arguing she was sexually harassed because a man was in the changing room. Her success won’t turn on the failure to do this assessment, but it makes her employer look bad. The only technicality that this case could turn on is that Ted Upton didn’t have a Gender Recognition Certificate, so legally he was a man when he was allowed in. I can see the Tribunal going for the most conservative position and ruling in her favour on that basis, because courts and tribunals usually go for the narrow rather than broad answer. I haven’t read the full mumsnet coverage so that answer might change, but this is my view from my current state of knowledge.

Gattaca was not a how-to manual.

I’m very confused on how it seems to be law to have to have single sex spaces available, but they’re having a whole tribunal on it. What exactly does that aforementioned assessment do that they failed to do, the one they’re supposed to have completed before allowing him in? The whole UK system is so wacky and confusing- protections for sex, protections for self id, protections for GRC, they’re all contradictory and the answer always defers to troons.

Am I nuts or did TRAs literally universally advocate for sex and gender being seperate concepts and now on IDs we are expecting that gender goes in the sex field as if they're the same thing? Shouldn't they be advocating to add a gender field instead you can put whatever you want in?
At some point we just magically were expected to beleive gender and sex were equals. It wasn't even some insidious thing one day they just were announced to be the same.

Attorney General Pam Bondi warned officials in Maine, California and Minnesota on Tuesday to comply with President Trump’s executive orders to bar transgender athletes from participating in girls’ and women’s sports, promising swift legal action.

“This Department of Justice will hold accountable states and state entities that violate federal law,” Bondi wrote Tuesday in letters addressed to Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D), California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Executive Director Ron Nocetti, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) and Erich Martens, executive director of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

Officials in each of the states have said state antidiscrimination laws protecting transgender people prevent them from complying with Trump’s order, one of several the president has signed targeting trans Americans since his return to office.

Trump sparred with Mills at a National Governors Association session last week at the White House over Maine’s refusal to ban transgender athletes from girls’ and women’s sports. The previous evening, Trump told a meeting for the Republican Governor’s Association that he would withhold federal funding from Maine if the state continued to ignore his order.

“See you in court,” Mills told Trump during the White House event, responding to the president’s threat to the state’s funding.

The CIF and MSHSL have said they will follow state laws that allow transgender students to compete in sports consistent with their gender identity, and Ellison, in an opinion issued last week, said Trump’s order violates the Minnesota Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination based on gender identity.

That probably wouldn’t even be that difficult, Barr Body tests are already cheap and fast and they could be put into some kind of form factor like a COVID test pretty easily. The thing is, who needs to carry a medical test to make sure that the fridge in a dress isn’t actually a man? If you’re really having a moment where you’re asking yourself, “is she a man?” then even if she is a woman you probably aren’t that attracted to her

Seconded.

Because the problem isn't NHS Fife not going through some safeguarding procedure. The problem is the structures in place that necessitate additional safeguarding. The problem is the UK Gender Recognition Act (2004), and any ties the UK has to European courts that would override its sovereignty. The Act needs to be repealed, in full. Legislators are responsible.

I'm going to disagree because I want this case to end in Sandie's favour and for her to get her life back as soon as possible. Any win for her, even on a technicality, will be a step forward, and sadly there will be plenty more cases (see: Darlington nurses) where these issues will be hashed out. Every case means these issues are brought into the open and every win is, hopefully, a nail in the coffin.

In other news, Sandie has already stated that she'll donate the funds raised by the "treat herself" crowdfunder to charity. Has Theodore done the same with his own? Don't bother answering; of course he considers that money to be just what he deserves, since he's the victim!
