Off-Topic Transgender Legislation and Litigation

I'm going to disagree because I want this case to end in Sandie's favour and for her to get her life back as soon as possible. Any win for her, even on a technicality, will be a step forward, and sadly there will be plenty more cases (see: Darlington nurses) where these issues will be hashed out. Every case means these issues are brought into the open and every win is, hopefully, a nail in the coffin.

In other news, Sandie has already stated that she'll donate the funds raised by the "treat herself" crowdfunder to charity. Has Theodore done the same with his own? Don't bother answering; of course he considers that money to be just what he deserves, since he's the victim!
Up until around 2015, I was in awe of any medical doctor (not the other kind of doctor, PhDs). I knew a few from my university days: astonishingly intelligent in a way you couldn't mistake. Even playing a casual board game with them I could see I was outclassed.

But I'm not in awe anymore, at least not as a pre-judged reaction. I am now well aware that any person, no matter how highly intelligent, can be completely blinded by their own political and psychological predilections to the point of absurdity, just like Theo.

I generally agree, but I was aware of Muslim doctors who still would insist that males being naked together, changing room situations, and women exposing their hair would lead to perversion and sin from an early age.

If basically every single human wasn’t capable of some degree of lunacy or stupidity then humanity would have done away with such things a long time ago.

I am telling you the company that can make a DNA tester that plugs into your phone and runs an app is going to make billions.

Meet date at bar.
Order date a drink.
Wait till date finishes drink.
Grab empty glass and say "Let me pop up to the bar and get you another one of those."
Once out of sight run swab over glass and put into Sex Machine or what ever they call the scanner.
Wait for results.
If result matches what was claimed, order your date another drink.
If result is not what was claimed, exit building with great speed.
If your eyesight is so bad you need a DNA scanner to tell if your date is a fucking Troon it'd probably be easier just to train your Guide Dog to let you know.

And while I'm here, might as well share this one concerning this true and honest tracksuit to court wearer (and paedo)- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...man-court-rape-girl-sexually-assault-boy.html
Transgender woman appears in court accused of raping a girl under 13 and sexually assaulting a boy
Phonefagging at the moment so can't post links, but I'm pleased to say that this waste of a pulse reportedly hung themselves on the 14th Feb.
It's reported on the BBC news site.

Waiting to see how the trannys manage to twist this multiple child rapist into sainthood.

Those children were viciously misgendering him, so he had no choice other than to demonstrate to them with his female penis that he was all woman.

He was sadly martyred by the lingering effects of the children sniggering and pointing.

These titters cut deeper and more damaging than the arrows shot at Saint Sebastian.

While he nobly survived that, through a miraculous healing, he was brutally clubbed to death by transphobic rope.

Wow! A whole 120 perverts. That will TOTALLY convicince them to change their minds.

"More than 120 people gathered Tuesday evening at the Ohio Statehouse and marched through downtown Columbus in protest of a controversial new law mandating that K-12 and college students use bathrooms and lockers that correspond with their sex assigned at birth.

Protesters with "The March for Trans Liberation" took to the streets to challenge Senate Bill 104, which was signed by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in November and went into effect on Tuesday.

In addition to barring transgender students from using their preferred bathrooms and locker rooms, the law also bans multi-occupancy, gender-neutral restrooms and bars transgender students from sharing overnight accommodations with peers of the same gender."

Good luck with that losers!

"More than 80 House Democrats are calling on President Trump to revoke an executive order to broadly restrict access to gender-affirming health care for transgender young people, alleging the directive is unconstitutional and puts lives at risk.

Trump signed the order, one of several targeting transgender rights, during his second week back in office. It accuses medical professionals of “maiming and sterilizing” children and directs government officials to slash federal support for transition-related care for trans youth under 19.

Federal judges in Baltimore and Seattle temporarily blocked the order this month, preventing agencies from withholding funds from medical facilities that provide the care to minors. Some hospitals had begun suspending care over threats to their federal funding.

In a letter sent Tuesday to Trump, 89 House Democrats, led by Rep. Becca Balint (D-Vt.), called Trump’s order “an astonishing attempt to interfere in private health care decisions.”

“Trans young people, their parents and their doctors should be the ones making their health care decisions. No one should need to ask the President’s permission to access life-saving, evidence-based health care,” the lawmakers wrote.

Major medical organizations say gender-affirming care for both transgender adults and minors is medically necessary and can be lifesaving, though not every trans person chooses to medically transition or has access to care. Half of states have banned transition-related care, including puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgery, for youth since 2021. "

Ryan's case is awaiting judgement. The morning hearing summary is here and the afternoon one is here. If you're out of the loop, this is Ryan's attempt to force the UK to recognise non binary as his legal sex. He's legally non binary in the state of California, but that's not a thing here. He managed to convince a UK Gender Recognition Panel to issue him with a certificate that states he transitioned to "not specified", although they did say they had no idea what that actually meant, it was the closest they could get to letting him be non binary.
Ryan got his judgement.

Claim 1: "The Gender Recognition Act says it will recognise the gender the person changed their gender to in another country. I'm non-binary in California, so that means you have to recognise me as non binary. The UK provides some legal recognition to things that it wouldn't accept domestically, like a husband trying to import one wife (only) where he's got a polygynous marriage, so they clearly meant to allow wiggle room."
Denied. There's nothing to suggest the UK Government went "we'd better make sure we recognise any different gender status that exists in other countries" when they passed this law.

Claim 2: "The GRA only specifies gender in that section and doesn't specifically say men and women. So technically that means that through a legal loophole that only foreigners can be recognised as non-binary".
Denied. You can't just read one sentence out of context from the rest of an Act. The Act clearly talks about the context of gender meaning "man or woman" and the legal background to the act was about binary gender. Non binary gender wasn't even legally a thing anywhere when this act was getting discussed, so there's no way to read some special exemption in here (see claim 1).

Claim 3: "This breaches Article 14 of the European Convention On Human Rights; protection from discrimination. You're treating someone who changed to non binary in another country differently to someone who changed to male or female in another country."
Denied. This is completely allowed under the ECHR, it's literally like arguing there's discrimination that we have different laws to other countries. There's no positive obligation to recognise it. As we already explained to you previously, our entire state is structured around there only being men and women, and we've already established we're not recognising non binary people, so that's a fully justified reason to reject this. Also there's not even international consensus that non binary is a thing which weakens this argument even further.

Claim 4: "If someone from Germany was legally non binary and moved to another EU state, that state would have to recognise their gender under EU Freedom of Movement law. You kept that bit after Brexit and here's some examples of court cases."
Denied. You're not from the EU so that's irrelevant anyway. Also the cases you've cited are about a Romanian trans man trying to get legally recognised as a man in Romania after transitioning here, and a lesbian couple trying to register a birth in Bulgaria with them both as mothers after getting recognised as such here, and literally nobody from Germany has ever been non binary and tried to force another nation state to recognise non binary so you can't even say what the judgement would be. Also you're making the same argument about gender we just explained.

Claim 5: "Malta has a law that recognises international non binary people even though it doesn't domestically, so you've got to do it too!"
Denied. Malta does have that law. We don't. The fact that Malta literally wrote a law about it is basically proof that our existing law doesn't have to recognise it.

Conclusion: There are only two genders. If you don't like that, you're going to have to convince Parliament to vote to change the law; you can't sue your way into it.

All in all, Ryan's not had a great February.

Although if you're fans of Ryan trying to Karen his way into making the UK recognise non-binary, you'll be pleased to know that despite the hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds he's already spent on legal fees, he's now planning to take it to the manager's manager and appeal in the Supreme Court.
Commenting on the outcome, Leigh Day solicitor Anna Dews – who is representing Castellucci – said they will now seek permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.

“Ryan’s only registered gender is non-binary. Despite Parliament legislating for the UK to recognise foreign-acquired genders, the Courts have so far ruled that non-binary foreign genders do not count,” Dews said. “Ryan considers that there cannot be true gender equality without recognition of the fact that not all genders are binary. We will continue to support Ryan who is planning to appeal this ruling.”

- Seemed more relevant to this thread than others: British (former) lgbTroon Charity Stonewall is potentially on the ropes, as rumoured up to half their funding was USAID contingent, but no more!
BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c36we3pnxy6o Archive: https://archive.ph/0sd9J
Stonewall has said it is trying to "meet the challenges of this new political era" after it was reported the LGBTQ+ charity could be forced to cut up to half of its staff in the wake of US President Donald Trump's overseas aid freeze.
The charity told the BBC "an organisation-wide consultation" has begun and said that "hard-won rights are being rolled back for marginalised communities across the world".
Only roles with dedicated funding would be safe, Stonewall's CEO Simon Blake told staff in a call on Thursday.
When asked by the BBC how much foreign aid spending cuts related to their decision, Stonewall said there are "a number of reasons for the consultation".
Stonewall has 114 employees, according to the UK charity commission website.
The charity's largest funder in recent years has been the Global Equality Fund (GEF), which is overseen by the US state department. It has given Stonewall more than £500,000 between 2021 and 2025.
Stonewall's accounts show the GEF granted it £137,254 in 2021-22, £204,442 in 2022-23 and £233,583 in 2023-24.
The GEF is a pooled fund from several countries and private business, with a focus on "advancing LGBTI rights around the world". But, according to the Times, it has not published accounts since 2015.
President Trump is a long-term critic of overseas spending and has said it needs to be brought in line with his "America First" strategy. The US government has announced a freeze on funding for aid projects while it undertakes a "review" to ensure they align with Trump's priorities.
Mr Blake warned about the impact that Trump's policies would have on Stonewall and LGBTQ+ rights globally.
"The work to advocate for LGBTQ+ equality has never been more important and Stonewall is rising to meet the challenge," Stonewall said in a statement to the BBC.
"We are seeing an unprecedented political backlash against the principles of inclusion. Stonewall is adapting to ensure that it is fit for purpose and able to meet the challenges of this new political era."
The statement added that "many charities in the UK are facing tough choices for a range of reasons, including the economic environment. Stonewall is no different".
The charity also said that its work in eastern Europe is "a good example of the type of project that may cease if funding isn't replaced".
Stonewall's projects in eastern Europe help communities and law enforcement agencies to respond to anti-LGBTQ+ violence and provide "vital services to victims", according to Mr Blake.

"WASHINGTON, D.C. – Minnesota quickly went on the radar of newly sworn in U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi after state leaders vowed to buck President Donald Trump’s executive order banning transgender individuals from participating in girls and women’s sports.
Bondi warned Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison that the Department of Justice is prepared to sue states that do not comply with the president’s order. But Ellison indicated he will not back down, arguing that complying with Trump’s executive order would violate the state’s Human Rights Act.
“We defend and file lawsuits every day,” Ellison said in an interview. “So, her threatening to sue me, that doesn’t exactly concern me. It’s another day at the office for me.”
Whether Bondi will continue to probe the state remains to be seen, but she could become a major foe for Democrats in the coming years.
Minnesota Republicans appear to see an opening in Bondi’s Department of Justice to investigate Democrats in the state.
“We write to inform you of years of rampant unchecked fraud occurring in our state due to failed leadership by Governor Tim Walz, his agencies, and legislative Democrats. We also ask for your assistance to investigate the growing fraud in our state,” state House Republicans wrote in a letter to Bondi earlier this month.

That article states that other States have already passed legislation that does the same, without the criminal component.

This means all research about causes of death in America is permanently compromised. The Colorado legislation does not provide for an amendment note or any way to record that the 'sex' recorded is a putative gender identity, and not sex.

I can't. I can't keep up with trans madness. I could not even imagine yesterday that a state would criminalise correctly recording the sex of a deceased person.

How do Democrats sleep at night?

It's fucking unreal, isn't it? Women have so many more side effects to drugs because they're so underrepresented in clinical trials. They didn't even use crash test dummies in car safety testing with female bodies, for fucks sake. Not only will we have super inaccurate stats on crime, which is pretty important for women's safeguarding, but now health stuff is compromised, too.

Speaking of, there's like 0% chance these people aren't compromised in someway. I don't just mean mentally, but financially from both lobbies that benefit from this nuttery and those funded by our foreign adversaries.

The troons are basically permanently undeployable, too, and compromise every unit they're in because basic rules don't apply to them. Commanders are afraid to discipline them about it and it affects the cohesion of the unit. Again, their inclusion has to be partly influenced by state actors. It's bad enough all these weirdos are convinced there's a genocide against them and encourage one another to get guns.

Again, their inclusion has to be partly influenced by state actors
A majority of it comes from high ESG-score big corporations that lobby the government with tranny policies that undermine and harm the general populace. To a normal person, if the only groups getting behind your movement are the biggest banks and companies on Earth, you would turn the other way and run.

I don't really "get" how sport works at an organisational level.

It seems to me that a lot of it seems to be at a university level?

If that's the case then would it make more sense for the "sane" states to just say "we won't let you compete in our state, and we won't be sending competitors to your state because you're fucking weirdos" and essentially freeze out the states who argue the toss over this?

That'd leave the "insane" states with an ever decreasing pool of competitors, competitions and athletes.

Sure, it's probably not a "nice" thing to do, but if they've chosen this as a hill to die on, we may as well make it a positive experience.

Is it me or has Colorado become California levels of insane? Even in blue states like New York, I posted at least some push back against TRA madness. I know Californians fled the state for Colorado but I didn't think it was this bad.
