Like damn I get it doctors charge an arm and a leg it’s not cheap to do a surgery especially a modern one. How costly can it be for a lab to make drugs?

To actually manufactur the drugs is rather cheap. But it's making the drugs compliant with F.D.A standards and the years of r&d then trials to get it right with side effects n what not. They do have to recoup that. That's why medicine on the shelf either stays stagnant or their is a revolutionary breakthrough every 10 years
