whens trump going to save johnny somali?
Hopefully never but realistically some retards will petition either president trump or who ever comes after and because despite America saying we won’t do shit if you fuck up in another country we allways do. This is also why I don’t like people saying this is on trump when every president ever has always used Americans imprisoned in foreign nations in negotiations.

Novo Nordisk (makers of Ozempic) are now trying to make a "Nova 2.0" that has quite literally nothing to do with the original researchers that defined NOVA classification, and they're making it an explicit goal to allow "some healthy ultra processed foods"
One of the big problems with original NOVA is that its definition of "ultra processed" has way too many obvious exceptions. For example it classes pasta, which you can easily make at home, as group 4 "ultra processed", meanwhile seed oils are arbitrarily put in the healthy group 2 even though they require a huge line of factory equipment to produce.

If they were actually trying to address that problem and make "ultra processed" more accurate, then these changes might be a good thing. But it sounds like they're doing the opposite and just pumping out yet another crank food guidelines system that will do nothing but benefit Nestle and big ag and make the population fatter and sicker.

People love to blame fatties for their situation but the fact is that people actually followed US nutritional guidelines when they first came out... and just got more fat. We ate less meat and more plant products... and just got more fat. More US people exercise today than they did in the past... but we still just got more fat. There is obviously something missing or plain wrong in our "settled science" if we got to a 70% obesity rate while following it, so relying on that same "settled science" to try and get us back out is the definition of insanity. One reason I have some hope for RFK is the fact that so many mainstream nutritionists think he's crazy. Because yes, we are going to have to ignore a few "commonsense facts" about nutrition and risk being called crackpots and anti-science if we want any hope of breaking out of this. Fingers crossed that he ignores this NOVA 2 idiocy.

It was brought up numerous times already, this isn't the gotcha you think it is. Trump shouldn't have had anything to do with the Tate retards and it's hard to fathom why he'd even entertain the idea of involving himself with "influencers" after Kanye tried setting him up with Fuentes.

And yet allowing two grifting sex criminals to go free still sounds more palatable than spending half our tax dollars in Africa and Europe and importing infinity browns, go figure.

Trump: supporting 2 alleged sex criminals
Also Trump: deporting hundreds of illegal immigrants with a sex crime history
Also also Trump: draining the swamp, reducing waste of money via DOGE, protecting the borders, helping the pendulum swing against wokism etc

So on balance, who cares. Both parties support and pardon criminals (sex crime related or not) so this is nothing new. At least the Tates are sometimes funny, sometimes insightful and their alleged crimes are not clear cut and the facts of the case are debatable.

For whatever reason, most of this R&D is recouped using American money. Ozempic (the fat person drug) costs $1000/month without insurance in the US, even though it was developed in Denmark where it costs about $120/month. It's not even that it's government subsidized, they just charge less in other countries. We pay more for drugs we develop, and we pay more for drugs other countries develop, and I think we just like getting fucked over. I think everyone personally knows medicine that's cheaper OTC in Canada than they can get in the US with insurance, and I'm sure those follow something similar to FDA standards.
Im not gonna lie to you like I know how to explain this, I just know it from the u.s perspective.

The US is trying to work a 3 way trade deal with North Korea and South Korea to trade both Britanny Grimier and Somali to North Korea in exchange for a hearty handshake and a thank you tweet from Trump. Rubio is doing all he can. (this isnt real)

What part of the food pyramid told you to eat 3500 calories? If you stay under 2000 calories (and arent a 4 foot 13 manlet) and do a the slightest bit of movement throughout the day you're not going to get obese.

Now I will say those recommendations are dated. They were made in a time where more American's physically worked and moved around during the day. Even an office job in the 1980's had a modest amount of movement as you had to physical file things, travel to different buildings sometimes for meetings etc. Technology makes almost every job take less caloric effort, even roofers have nail guns instead of swinging a hammer all day.

No. Blame the fatties, and make Kraft Mac n Cheese delicious and fake as fuck yellow again. Macros are macros, and when you start looking at the quality/processed part of food you are getting into the micro level of the effects on the quality of those and their impact on the body.

RFK can help make food quality better, education better on the recommendations of what people eat. End of the day though, a fatty is going to eat a fatty amount of calories.

Trump: supporting 2 alleged sex criminals

Snowden's an alleged sex criminal. Everyone seems to think he's super neat.

As a person of Celiac, Detroit style is one of the crusts you can replicate well with gluten-free flours. It's pretty great.
as a fellow PoC, try this if you can. makes a great thin crust. https://caputoflour.com/products/caputo-gluten-free-flour

I'll have to try a making a Detroit style at some point.

Nice. Have people have seen the cope that DOGE hasn't found any waste? Or if it had it's so irrelevant we shouldn't even bother?
The seething is off the charts and DOGE need to double down.

You gotta remember this is the same country where its own people cheaped out making baby formula so much it ended up killing a bunch of kids. The bugman does not care as long as it makes a profit.

To be fair to the Chinnese government through they did execute the people that oversaw that particular fiasco.
Damaged the kidneys of hundreds of thousands of babies.

I’m probably one of the most anti china people on the entirety of the farms, and even I don’t hate china enough

2008 was when they were at their pro-west peak and still encouraging foreigners to move to Shenzen, before Xi began his “we need to overthrow the US” era

Edit to add: they executed some people to save face, not to discourage fucking westerners over. If there’s anything to learn about the CCP, it’s that crime and punishment have no direct causal link. The only thing you get punished for is making the CCP look bad.

How many tofu dreg construction companies got executed? How many vendors selling plastic pellets as rice?

Exactly. You can be healthy and thin if you eat healthy, or unhealthy and thin if you eat like shit but not too much, but you'll only ever be a lardball if you put the fork in your mouth too many times.
This is a separate conversation from teaching cooking skills in schools, making healthy foods more visible and available, and penalising parents if their underage kid fails a BMI test.

"some" information, according to her. NGL, this is kinda feeling like the first huge misstep on the Trump admin's part. Would love nothing more than to be proven wrong, but,

i mean it sounds like she's just censoring names of victims so if it comes out today (which i doubt they'd say they were going to if they weren't absolutely sure they were) i don't see how they've handled it as a misstep. it's been just over a month, guys.

Unless your True & Honest opinion is that the US should invade, occupy, and subjugate the ChiComs, you don't hate them enough. Glassing them is too easy and prevents the US from exploiting their natural resources.

Conspiracy theory to be had here, speaking of macros.

Any diet app will say you should get 25% of your calories from protein. That comports with the classic four food groups that I grew up with.

The food PYRAMID, however, has this expanded bottom that says what, 5-11 servings of carbs per day as the base?

@Hey Johnny Bravo what resources? They glassed themselves with industrial solvents

There stopped being as much shame for gluttony in...oh I don't know, the late '80s early '90s?
It became normalized to be seen snacking on chips, candy and soda or sitting down to huge plates of food.
Overeating leads to extra fatness.
Americans gaining weight had everything to do with food vendors wanting to sell more product and consumers wanting to indulge.
Want thinner people?
Make Gluttony Shameful Again!

The cope I've seen is "DOGE has saved less than [insert thing Trump or Musk did]", usually the superbowl or travel or whatever.
Generally ignoring every past admin racked up similar expenses while still putting out the same wasteful excess.
