Regarding imported baby formula, I know one family that went full health-anxiety and bought “bougie” European baby formula for their infant. The poor thing had severe stomach upset and the parents would not consider that they were causing it by switching formulas every other day.

Let’s just say the kid isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer these days. Is it likely that she comes from somewhat less intelligent stock? Yes. Is it also more fun to say she’s dumb because of European baby formula? Also yes.

MAHA should start talking openly about how breastfeeding is superior to formula feeding. If we’re going full-send on reducing vaccines, eliminating seed oils, and shitting on fatties, we should also be discouraging American women from giving up on breastfeeding 3 days after childbirth.

The biggest difference between Chinese corporate greed and American corporate greed seems to be the honesty around it and the ultimate role of societal pressure on it's effects.

Any diet app will say you should get 25% of your calories from protein. That comports with the classic four food groups that I grew up with.

The food PYRAMID, however, has this expanded bottom that says what, 5-11 servings of carbs per day as the base?

The food pyramid is fake and gay and made up of complete bullshit lies by agricultural lobbies pushing for people to eat more grain as to support large farms which exist only because of FDR's fucking New Deal subsides keeping corn artificially cheap (which is also why High Fructose Corn Syrup is on everything since said subsides keep it dirt cheap).

Similarly the fat hate is because of a fucking charlatan in the 1950s pushing the idea that saturated fats were bad with cherrypicked data from other nations and the USA about correlation between fat and heart disease (where he ignored places like France where butter is life but had low heart disease) which people bought into because of the fact fats like lard were less common in the modern days of 1950s. The advances in medicine in the 50's and 60's led to the conclusion this might be right when it was in fact better medicines and treatments not the effect of removing fat from diet.

The blame of heart shit on fat was cemented by literally a government panel on health choosing it mostly at random in 1972 because they were scared that if they didn't announce a guideline on diet soon they would lose their jobs.
