That is a Catholic addition, Jesus himself never ordered anyone not to sin, just said that God would forgive if you asked him to.

Catholicism is all about sticking the Church between the individual and God, and honestly goes against most of Jesus' actual teachings.
John 5:14 -
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

John 8:11 -
She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Even if you're right and this is some kind of translation issue, what's your argument? Paul discusses actively trying to sin less in his letters in depth too.

Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
Jesus's sacrifice is not a get of jail free card. The whole point is that you're supposed to continually work on improving yourself to grow closer to God.

Is this stuff that's already been known or ?
im like a fraction of the way through the first one and this is my favorite find so far

In my dreams I see that town. Trumps America where he has made the IRS realize that Islam is not a religion but a bronze age death cult and strips them from tax exempt status. Islam ticks even more of the cult boxes than Mormonism or Scientology.
1: preys upon the vulnerable for followers (see all the niggers who become muslim out of prison)
2: Encourages lying about the actual goals of the cult to people not fully indoctrinated (taqiyya)
3: Murder of those who seek to leave the cult
4: Paramilitary arms of the cult (the mudslimes really like this one)
5: Overthrow of local governance to enforce the cults order. See: Jamestown, Osho, Minnesota
6: Cutting off family members and friends who do not belong to the cult

Islam is a fucking obvious cult and I'm not even getting into the absolute batshit things these pedo worshippers believe in.
Don't forget their "prophet" having special privileges that nobody else does such as an unlimited number of wives and female slaves.

Nothing Ever Happens. If he has anything he would say it.
Plus Trump has a history of using giant empty file binders as camera props to make it look like he has a plan. It probably contains like 4 printer troubleshooting printouts that some intern shat out 10 minutes before the event.

yawn

he's already seemingly stopped talking about it lol - what a joke
he's just invited some faggot old senator to talk about budget issues

"Go and sin no more" is not "do the best you can".
yes it is, because as humans, we are by our very nature sinful. it is not possible for us to be perfect. what it is possible for us to do is lead a life that goes with the honest internal intent, and outward external actions, to lead a life as free of sin as possible. if you believe that verse is literal, how is it that it then applies to the rest of humanity?

John 8:7-11 said:
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

“No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,”Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

we are charged by christ to do the absolute best that we, as imperfect humans who cannot live a sinless life as christ did, can to try our hardest to live up to his teachings and commands. our shortcomings are our sins, and that is why we still need His forgiveness, even the most pious. what purpose do you argue this for?

I'm watching and fuck this nigga he's gonna DSP prestream us with no details for the next hour about what is going to be a total nothingburger
i'm already sizing myself up for a burger suit. someone get my crystal ready. :lossmanjack:

Meanwhile, apparently Iowa is passing anti-troon legislation today, and the troons are NOT happy:
The bill seems like it's total tranny death from what i skimmed and what chatgpt summarized. It disrupts the teacher to trans pipeline.
The bill, HSB242, introduces several changes related to the definitions of sex and gender in Iowa law, modifications to vital records, and the removal of gender identity as a protected class under the Iowa Civil Rights Act. Here are the key changes:

  1. Definitions of Sex and Gender:
    • Establishes a new statutory definition of "sex" as biologically determined at birth.
    • Clarifies terms such as "male," "female," "man," "woman," "mother," and "father" based on biological characteristics.
    • States that "gender" is synonymous with "sex" and not a shorthand for gender identity or expression.
  2. Changes to Vital Records:
    • Birth certificates must designate sex based on biological determination.
    • Removes the ability to amend birth certificates for sex changes.
    • In cases where sex is undetermined at birth, parents have six months to obtain medical evaluation.
  3. Modifications to Iowa Civil Rights Act:
    • Eliminates gender identity as a protected class in employment, housing, education, public accommodations, and credit practices.
    • Removes requirements prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity in job postings and hiring.
    • Maintains other existing protected classes (e.g., race, religion, disability).
  4. Education and Curriculum Restrictions:
    • Replaces "gender identity" with "gender theory" in laws governing school instruction.
    • Defines "gender theory" as the concept of gender being incongruent with biological sex and including medical interventions like hormone treatments.
    • Prohibits teaching gender theory in K-6 education.
  5. Other Impacts:
    • Asserts that sex-based distinctions in prisons, shelters, restrooms, and other spaces are lawful to protect privacy and safety.
    • Requires government data collection to classify individuals strictly as male or female.
The bill significantly alters Iowa's legal framework on gender identity, effectively removing legal recognition and protections for transgender individuals in multiple areas. Let me know if you need more details on specific sections.

it is not possible for us to be perfect.
If it were possible, Christ and his sacrifice and the forgiveness and cleansing that came with it wouldn't have been necessary. It's pretty easy to understand especially given the context of the old testament and people failing to follow the rules or following the letter of the law but not the spirit of it.
