I just want to give a big thank you to Zelensky, your public humiliation and meltdown was the finest 'diplomacy' I've witnessed since Gaddafi was ousted. Truly spectacular.

I've noticed something fairly obvious about this ordeal that no one else has pointed out it seems, and I'm a socially inept sperg.Oh and the sperging about the suit. Lmao. Guy tried to pull off showing up like a bum yet again to beg like a bum, but decided to be indignant and ungrateful instead.
10/10 comedy.
Zelensky may have fucked up in numerous ways, but I believe it was fucked up before he even set foot in the room. By the time he did, Trump had almost certainly decided on the outcome he wanted and as Trump could so easily have changed the outcome he got, we can assume the desired and actual outcome matched. This isn't to say there isn't genuine anger on Trump's part. I believe there is. But it's not solely directed at Zelensky and Trump is not pinballing around on impulse. Kiev has catastrophically fucked up throughout this war but I've always tended to share the blame around for that. Can't pin it all on Zelensky when the guy is so much a proxy for other players. Zelensky is riding the tiger like no other this past year. Doesn't want to be up there, doesn't dare get down.Did Trump cunningly lead lil’ Z into a trap or did Zelensky royally fuck up?
Good catch. Make that four goals. And most importantly, scares Europe even more into increasing their military spending. Division of labor, letting Europe hold the bag so the USA can bow out of the war.
The "rare" in rare earth minerals doesn't mean they're rare in the traditional sense. it just means they're typically not found in large ore bodies like other minerals. instead they are dispersed as small particles throughout the soil and rock, or as small nodes of ore or small veins called "stringers" in rock. Mining them requires processing a large amount of waste material to get usable amounts of ore, so a large amount of initial investment is needed to get set up and start churning through soil and rock before any major returns are seen. US investors have become increasingly averse to any sort of risk or delayed gratification, and so investing in mines like that is not very sought after, even if it would be immensely profitable down the line.I remember reading that it's really more of a matter of having the industry in place to extract those minerals, which is a tremendously polluting and dirty industry.
Of course the US would never have it in their lands, which is why China does it instead.
Whelp, we've lost neon which is used in semiconductors to Russia (who will give it to China).
Hope it was worth it.
I'm sure standing up to those meanie bullies will stop the bombs and missiles aaaaaany moment now.It really strikes me how utterly childish a lot of the responses to this are. 'Trump and Vance are bullies'. These people should be in an institution. They can't parse anything, even great power politics, through any frame other than Craig shoving them into a locker in 10th grade. Grow the fuck up, you probably deserved it then and you definitely still deserve it now.
Your cherished "democracy" was dead for centuries,, possibly millenias, old man.Trump had one job: Take a weak leader, who is extremely vulnerable and desperate, and make a simple deal revolving around mineral rights in exchange for protection against a country that, frankly, we already fight through proxies anyway and who is a significant threat to democracy.
NGL. Would have been a nice dis to the eurocucks if Zelensky had shown up in a suit and said something about “It’s not every day you get invited by Donald Trump to the White House and I wanted to be dressed for the occasion!”Absolutely surreal display. Would it kill this clown to put on a suit and at least pretend to be serious, given the gravity of his situation?
I won't be surprised if we might to hear about an emergency meeting between the two soon enough.I'm assuming Trump and Putin's negotiations are still going ahead?
LOL, LMAO what democracy?significant threat to democracy
"The president was mean to me so I'm going to cry to the media. Sean Penn gave me an Oscar and told everyone I'd have earnt one by the end of the conflict. I'M NOT CRYING"I think this might be important here

But Joe Biden really did get more votes than Obama - no malarkey!LOL, LMAO what democracy?
And if the election still doesn't go the way they want it to despite the rampant rigging, they scream and cry about "election interfence" and "muh russia". EU is even worse lol, they just straight up cancel elections if they don't like the results.
- AIPAC
- superPACS in general
- lobbying in general
- illegals and dead people voting by the millions
- people being bussed around to vote multiple times
- fake mail-in ballots
Not wearing a suit is to signal dominance, he did a bit too much coke and tried to be the dominant force in this negotiation lmao Image rolling into America from your Eastern Euro shithole IN A HOODIE and starting a shouting match with POTUS and his VP in front of cameras what the fuckAbsolutely surreal display. Would it kill this clown to put on a suit and at least pretend to be serious, given the gravity of his situation?
