I'm not going to lie, this whole thing makes me nervous. Zelensky definitely acted like a giant retard but even retards get second chances, right?

I know the EU is shit, I know there are a bunch of smug assholes in charge that shit on my country all the time while accepting aid, but holy shit I hope there's more to this than just, "Good luck and fuck off". There are people in the EU I happen to like, ones that use this forum. All I'm saying is at least let Zelensky put on a burger costume and beg for forgiveness.
Of the primary goals that Putin outlined for the "special military operation" he was already on track to successfully achieving four of them with or without Zelenskyy's chimp out.

1. Seize the Donbast oblasts

2. Reduce Ukraine's military capabilities

3. Prevent Ukraine from joining NATO

4. Remove Zelenskyy (coming sooner rather than later I guess)

The only goal that I can even remember him proclaiming that is left is "de-nazification," which if I had to take a very charitable guess means removing dye in the wool Banderites from positions of power and knocking down statues. The Ukrainians are not gonna be able to stop this from happening either, I'm sure.

At this point, the post-WW2 delusions that buttress the "rules based international order" have gotten more white people killed on their own fucking soil than the Islamist radicals that European technocrats will continue to funnel into their country could ever hope to match. I want Europe to be free of the globalist lie but like... AFD only won 21% of the vote in Germany and every political party in the UK is warhawking. I have no hope for them.

how it COULD have played out and got the good ending
zelenskyy: yeah these russians turned our country into a barren wasteland, please, could you at least try to tell putin to stop?
trump: ok

But noooo He just had to be the man, he couldn’t admit he’s just barely fending these guys off. he just had to look good by saying orange man bad and fuck everything over. If he went the eric Addams route admitted he had a problem that was out of his control not only would the problem be solved in a matter of days he could have gained more respect (it’s disgusting how the dems treated him afterwards but he has a lot of sympathy from new yorkers an I honestly hope he pulls through) why is it so hard to admit you have a problem and turn down a potential opportunity?
Very few people I've spoken to today understand that if Zelensky began signing off on things like mining operations, you can have the United States, Russia and others have a stake in Ukraine. This is a nation in desperate need of some reason for it to continue existing. People will cooperate if it means steady income. Yes, minerals are finite and will eventually run out. Use this as a way to stop people from shooting each other and invest time, money and infrastructure into your nation. It's a stepping stone, you can build from here. You can't build anything when your country is a battlefield and your citizens are either dying or fleeing.

🚨🚨 High-level Trump sources tell me the White House is now uncertain if they can get the Russians and Ukrainians to stop fighting because this episode with @ZelenskyyUa raised questions about whether he can move forward toward a peace deal. It also raises questions about whether US will pause aid to Ukraine. But Trump is NOT seeking regime change in Ukraine. No discussions about who in Ukraine might be a better leader than Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian officials have reached out this afternoon to senior White House officials desperate to get the deal back on track. But that will not happen today, I'm told. Trump is unwilling to talk to Zelenskyy further today.

When Rubio and Waltz went into the Roosevelt Room to ask Zelenskyy to leave, Rubio made it clear that any further engagements today would be counterproductive. Waltz told Zelenskyy he had made a tremendous mistake, and it was a grave disservice to Ukraine and to Americans, both.

No phone calls between Trump and Putin have been scheduled. But multiple European officials have called top Trump officials since Zelenskyy left asking how the minerals deal can be salvaged.

Trump fully intended to sign the minerals deal today. Two official binders were prepared -- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and his Ukrainian counterpart and the two presidents were going to sit at a conference table in the East Room and then trumpet their success at podiums.

But there were suspicions before Zelenskyy arrived today that it might fall apart. Because the Trump admin had been pushing for weeks for a minerals deal signing at the ministerial level, and Ukraine had refused. Zelenskyy wanted security guarantees.

US officials thought negotiations would be much harder with **Putin** so today have been been in disbelief that it has been Zelenskyy who has been more difficult, making maximalist demands, sources told me.
"Russia gets all of Ukraine because Zelenskyy is too stupid to do peace"

I'm genuinely fascinated by Zelenskyy's behavior today. Who is advising him? Did he think that he was in a position to show up and make demands while talking to the press instead of to the President?

He has been acting a fool and getting away with it for a very long time. For a year or so, he was raised up to the status of a sort of god and everyone was kissing his ass. He would show up to military meetings, demand weapons systems from the US that he had been told he would not get, and he would get them. He was able on multiple occasions to push the US around and get his way. The is not the first time he has acted like this. Its the first time that someone stood up to him and put him in his place.

He should not have expected anything different. He inserted himself more than once in the election on the side of Kamala. Doing that was as stupid and self-destructive as anything he did today.

What's the opinion in the UK and EU about a draft of the young adults?
I don't know about other EU countries but my country is currently going through massive protests and no one cares or talks about Ukraine anymore. Additionally the Pm and his cabinet are so unpopular that if he dares to say anything about direct involvement the protests may escalate even further. He's a retard but probably not that retarded.

Of course Zelensky is wrong to be rude and pushy about the money we're giving them, but it's embarrassing for the president to have an autistic scree like that as well.

You know what?

He should have done this on day one.

He should have told Zelensky to fuck right off and never return to the US under threat of incarceration.

After stretching the taxpayers wallets thin over the course of four years for the manlet euronigger, who should be hanged on a streetlight in an abandoned city, Zelensky deserves nothing but absolute humiliation.
