Ice Poseidon is still in Japan and went viral by being kicked off of a ferry by the coast guard. The video racked up 12 million views this week. He ultimately says that the netizens of Japan reported on him for smoking in a non-smoking area while on a previous ferry. Most places I've been outside the continental US have had plenty of friendly locals who practically bent over backwards to extend every courtesy once they noticed I was an American tourist who didn't act like an American tourist.

I don't really get that impression. I've dealt with Japanese tourists here in America and they're always polite and respectful. They don't have contempt for the locals (unlike chink tourists who are absolute trash). They are totally okay with tourists who do not act like absolute retards.

It's that they expect you to GO BACK HOME once you're done visiting. They despise you if you want to show up and stay there out of some otaku/weeb fantasy or because you're a literal nigger there to make money acting like one.
