Oh look Turkey is trying to stir up shit again. Shocker

edit Oh an expansionist Muslim country shocker.
i don't see how they're trying to stir up any more shit than anyone else who wants more popularity/land/resources on the world stage. they're not going around planting pager bombs in major diplomats' hands after all, just making international moves in public. or could it be that you don't actually care about any of that and if sandniggers want anything including neutral shit that has nothing to do with us, it's going to be the end of western civilization?

Trump should activate the tarrifs immidetely instead of waiting for the planned date since this bitch keeps opening her mouth.

i don't think he needs to. i know a couple of canadian libtards, and neither of them have anything positive to say about freeland or the liberals, nor do they have any interest in the canadian military being sent to ukraine.

this would be political suicide, and might even result in canada electing conservatives as the liberals lose their support.

Trump seats all foreign delegates you retard, it's him being polite. Seethe more
non-americans don't seem to get the idea of holding a chair out for someone, or keeping the door held open while someone a few feet behind you hurries up to get in quickly. it's a lost art in europe to simply be polite to people you don't know as best friends.

"Major diplomats"

I think you mean terrorist group leaders here. Unless you can point to somebody in particular of note who was injured who was not working directly with Hamas or Hezbollah.

And in any case, Muhammadans are more of a threat than some shadowy jewish cabal that turns children gay at public schools. Or perhaps you haven't seen how they behave the moment they perceive disrespect from a kafir.

So yeah, any expansionism from any muslim majority nation should be immediately slapped down as muslims are almost universally violent degenerates who will kill as many people as it takes in order to molest children in peace and force you to worship the demonic entity they worship.

Beyond my mother/female family members when I was a kid, I have never done this for someone I wasn't fucking lmao
It's a move that shows respect and typically indicates someone looking to have or improve a relationship with someone else. Maybe it was more common place in the past but current day Americans are sometimes very selective with their etiquette. Trump doing it for foreign leaders is a calculated kind gesture.

Going to post the entire transcript and highlight a few important parts that show it was Zelensky that escalated things. People are saying that Trump/Vance may have been trying to "trap" Zelensky, but I think if you read the actual transcript it's more like Zelensky intentionally blew the discussion up.

Zelensky: But after that, he broke this ceasefire. He killed our people, and he didn't exchange prisoners. We signed the exchange of prisons, but he didn't do it. What kind of diplomacy, JD, are you asking me about? What did it mean?

Vance: I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's going to end the destruction of your country.

Zelensky: Yes, but —

Vance: Mr. President, Mr. President, with respect. I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for being willing to bring an end to this conflict.

Zelensky: Have you — have you ever been to Ukraine? Have you seen what problems we have?
Vance: I have been to —

Zelensky: Come once.

Vance: I have actually — I've actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, Mr. President. Are — Do you disagree that you've had problems bringing people into your military, and do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?

Zelensky: A lot of — a lot of questions. Let's start from the beginning.

Vance: Sure.

Zelensky: First of all, during the war, everybody has problems, even you, you have nice ocean and don't feel now, but you will feel it in the future.

Trump: You don't know that.

Zelensky: God bless you. God bless you —

Trump: Don't tell us what we're going to feel. We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're going to feel.

Zelensky: I'm not telling you, I'm not saying —

Trump: Because you're in no position to dictate that. You're in no position to dictate what we're going to feel. We're going to feel very good. We're gonna feel very good and very strong.

Zelensky: You're going to feel influence —

Trump: You're right now not in a very good position. You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position, and he [Vance] happens to be right about it.

Zelensky: From the very beginning of the war —

Trump: You're not in a good position. You don't have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards, but right now, you're playing cards. You're gambling with the lives of millions of people. You're gambling with World War III. You're gambling with World War III, and what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that's backed you far more than a lot of people said they should.

Vance: Have you said thank you once in this entire meeting? No. You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country.

Zelensky: Please. You think that, if you will, speak very loudly about the war —

Trump: He's not speaking loudly. He's not speaking loudly. Your country is in big trouble. Wait a minute, no, no, you've done a lot of talking. Your country is in big trouble.

Zelensky: I know, I know.

Trump: You're not winning. You're not winning this. You have a damn good chance of coming out OK, because of us.

Zelensky: Mr. President, we are seeing in our country staying strong. From the very beginning of the war, we've been alone, and we are thankful. I said, thanks.

Trump: You haven't been alone. We gave you, through this stupid president, $350 billion; we gave you military equipment. And your men are brave, but they have to use our military. If you didn't have our military equipment. If you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks.

Zelensky: In two days, I heard it from Putin, in three days. This is something —

Trump: Maybe less.

Zelensky: Of course, yes.
Trump: It's going to be a very hard thing to do business like this, OK?

Vance: Just say thank you.

Zelensky: I said that all the time —

Vance: Accept that there are disagreements, and let's go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you're wrong. We know that you're wrong.

Trump: But you see, I think it's good for the American people to see what's going on. I think it's very important. That's why I kept this going so long. You have to be thankful — you don't have the cards.

Zelensky: I am thankful.

Trump: You're buried there. Your people are dying. You're running low on soldiers; listen, you're running low on soldiers. It would be a damn good thing — then you tell us, 'I don't want a ceasefire. I don't want to ceasefire. I want to go, and I want this.' Look, if you could get a ceasefire right now, I'd tell you, you take it so the bullets stop flying and your men stop getting killed.

Zelensky: Yes, of course, we want to stop the war, but I —

Trump: But you're saying you don't want a ceasefire? I want to ceasefire because you get a ceasefire faster than an agreement.

Zelensky: Ask our people about a ceasefire, what they think.

Trump: That wasn't with me. That wasn't with me. That was with a guy named [former President Joe] Biden, who is not a smart person. That was — that was with [former President Barack] Obama.

Zelensky: This is your president, it was your president—

Trump: Excuse me, that was with Obama who gave you sheets, and I gave you javelins?

Zelensky: Yes

Trump: I gave you the javelins to take out all those tanks. Obama gave you sheets. In fact, the statement is, Obama gave sheets and Trump gave javelins. You got to be more thankful, because, let me tell you, you don't have the cards. With us, you have the cards, but without us you don't have any cards.

There's more before this and Zelensky was talking for a while explaining himself before the question immediately below. But basically this is where it all started. He talks for a long time, makes multiple points then asks Vance a question. He lets Vance get one sentence out then tries to cut him off. Vance then correctly points out that he's trying to "litigate" the discussion in the Oval Office in front of media, instead of behind closed doors. You can see he basically cuts Vance off twice in this short exchange. This is what started everything. It was bad but probably could have been defused if he backed off.

Then Zelensky says "but you will feel it in the future", which pisses Trump off, and he tries to backtrack/lie that he didn't say what he just did. Zelensky's probably emotional at this point. He also says we have an ocean between us which implies we aren't invested.

Vance said this, which a lot of people have brought up. I downloaded the subs from the full ~50 minute youtube video, and other than pleasantries such as "Thank you for inviting me, Mr. President", Zelensky never said thank you to the US for the hundred+ billion we've sent them.
Vance: Have you said thank you once in this entire meeting? No. You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country.

And then this. Basically discounting the hundreds of billions of dollars his country has received. Trump becomes even more annoyed.

During the whole thing, Zelensky continually tries to interrupt, usually by redirecting the conversation to Putin bad and emotional arguments. Vance is probably the most polite out of the three. After Zelensky pissed Trump off, Trump basically went gloves off and would just talk over him.

Side note, still happy with Trump presidency but reading a transcript of him talking is going to give me brain cancer.

I don't see a lot of people talking about this but Trump should absolutely take Congo's offer to help them out in exchange for mineral rights. It would take zero effort at all to squeeze Rwanda like a grape and make them drop their support of the M23 militias like they're on fire, and it'd be relatively cheap to train and equip Congo's military to some basic level of competence, especially since they don't need tanks or high end fighters or cruise missiles or whatnot.

Then Congo nationalizes the Chinese businesses in the country and turns around and sells stakes in them to US companies. They get dollars, we get minerals, and China gets fucked.
FUCK YOU HUTU LOVER
TUTSI PRIDE WORLDWIDE

The sad truth is is this: this whole thing blew up because of lack of understanding of cultural differences, and Zelensky's poor English skills.

Amerifriends itt are shitting on Z because they don't understand the cultural differences and way of thinking and acting of a guy from across the globe.

Likewise, Z does not understand English turn of phrases or culture and he sperged out when Trump said things such as "you don't have the cards", implying (from Zs perspective) that the whole thing (the war, people dying) is a game.

It takes deep knowledge of both cultures to understand why the misunderstandings occurred and how both sides feel disrespected and slighted.

Even the suitsperg: Z would be seen as an untrustworthy retard by his people if he walked around in a nice suit while his people are dying in trenches. Amerifriends think him not wearing a suit to the WH is disgraceful and disrespectful. Again, you need to understand both cultures to see that both sides are right, in their own view.

What's bothering me is that there was no one in the WH or briefing before the meeting who understands both cultures and speaks both languages fluently to be able to mediate and explain these differences to these two groups of people.

It doesn't matter what the general public thinks of all that happened, the general public is retarded. But the politicians playing with countries futures and people's lives SHOULD be more informed than the general public.
Get a pair of your own English skills and rewrite this gibberish slavjank poojeet rant, you absolute ESL.

Maybe this is just something between rich city boys but if I did this for any of my male friends they'd look at me funny.

Starmer actually said he would put British troops on the ground in Ukraine, "As long as the US protected them."

Which means he wants US troops on the ground too.

He and half the EU want to get involved in a ground war in Ukraine.

Which would only lead to more war and enflame the situation.

Holy fuck, I can't believe that in this fucking day and age, US and China are litterally the only ones in the room who want an end to the war.

Fuck neo-liberalism and neo-conservatism.
EU and UK domestic is in the toilet. How many of these EU countries right now have a totally stalled out government with a pissed off population? When domestic is in the shit, turn to foreign to soothe the people. Get troops on the ground against a common enemy. How they will convince the population to throw themselves on the front line is a little detail they haven’t figured out yet but clear what they want.

Add in that Ukraine, before this conflict was considered everyone’s money rinsing machine (before media painted them as heroes/poor victims). Still is tbh, so it’s TPTB protecting their own asses.
