How you can simultaneously resent being told you ate yourself into fatness while also saying there's nothing wrong with overeating? Surely to hate the terminology implies that you think it's wrong, on some level, to put yourself into such a position. Then again, logic has never been the hallmark of fat activism.

Yes of course thin people get diabetes. At VASTLY lower rates. There’s a subtype that seems to be linked to the HLAb27 locus like psoriatic arthritis is. It’s not common. I actually know someone who has this. The thing is that when they go to the beetus clinic they’re the only small person there, they’ve never seen another thin person there unless it’s a relative of a patient, and before the staff got to the point they recognised him there would be a ‘this is the diabetes clinic love are you in the right place?’ Every time. Because 99% of T2 diabetes is caused by being fat.
And apparently all the staff are lovely to him, because he’s probably the only person they see all week where it’s not their own fault and they feel sorry for him.
Obesity means exactly what it is. Unless you’re a captive foie gras goose yes, you have eaten yourself fat.
Her cholesterol example is dumb. Everyone gets the same intervention which is testing, advice on lifestyle and statins these days. Why would you want to take drugs with side effects when you can just lose 10% of your body weight? ‘More fibre’ isn’t going to get death fat cholesterol down.

And trust me. Type 1 diabetics all show up comatose on the ER floor weighing pounds less than usual. The fat in their bodies has been eaten away before being properly diagnosed.
“There isn’t a single illness that only fat people get.” What in the name of logic is that sentence supposed to do to the argument?

That argument is so frustrating to me. I can't think of a health problem that isn't about playing the odds. Gaining 200 lbs gives you much higher odds of major health problems, but of course some thin people get those problems too.

Something like 10+ percent of lung cancer patients never smoked in their lives. Men get breast cancer. Many seemingly healthy people have high cholesterol. Marathon runners who eat great diets have had sudden heart attacks.

So orclady Kristen is getting her insides yanked before her "wife" lol can impregnate her. Today truly is a good day.
She did not like that itty bitty Factor meal, not that such a tiny volume of actual ingredients would satiate her. I cannot imagine there is any overlap between people who would use Factor and people who regularly watch this garbage.
I’m glad to see another one of our gorls getting the uterus yeeted before it can be used, but it did cross my mind that her creepy husband has probably asked the surgeon if it is possible to transplant it into him.

"Brian was the type of guy I spent most of high school and college and my entire adult life pining after and never getting: slim, with dark hair and glasses, his jeans torn in all the best places. He had a beautiful mouth that was excitedly saying things I couldn't hear, but was making everyone around him laugh."

That dude has been an awkward fat nerd from the get go. Now hes fatter, balding and uglier with a burgeoning agp fetish. What a winner.

I know, her description of him is hilarious.
But she is, or was, obviously hopelessly fallen for him. I thought the article mentioned kids/family, so I had to dig it up again.
