I love Burt but I'm extremely burnt out on him. Like I have Burt fatigue at this point. A small cameo would be cool but a fatty style freeloader thing I don't think should happen.

So back ~100 years ago if there was something wrong with your kid but he or she wasn’t visibly disabled or unmanageably schizo so they couldn’t send them to an asylum, apparently parents would keep mildly-moderately disabled kids at home for their entire lives because it was easier than having them causing problems in the village. From awhile back:

Greg's show will be called SeGREGated and be a solitary confinement style event where nobody is allowed to talk to him but the TTS. He will have helpers and people to come mess with him via fishtoys, though he said he wanted it to be far tamer and less about bullying/torture than fishtank. Apparently Frank Hassle is involved in some capacity.

I've been watching today, and this about right for what's been going on. It's very lighthearted, and makes for some nice background noise. Hassle is there but he's not even hassling, he's just hanging out, and there's a meter that's filling up for various challenges he has for Greg.

He has been sitting at the top of viewers frequently all night and had plenty of viewers the time he was on in general. His "star points" have been fucked a lot (including by Aperture) but an hour before the above he got from a negative number to the top spot with a 500k lead on #2. I mention this as they were talking about how that weighs into the "auditioning". Mints has given him contradictory statements about the importance of them. First saying that they're secondary while also saying that they should be desired and done everything for. Cryo seemed to have had some kind of talks with Goblina (which is also on the site) about the limits they'd be willing to go to in order to win - taking issue with some of the previous escalations that occurred while live (getting cuts, threatening suicide, hitting girls, etc.). This feeds into his opinions about how he felt mistreated and wasn't necessarily save when he was in the cell on 2.5

After his crash out he went to kick right away, talking a bit more before transitioning into a "japanese gaming stream".
Even gave them advice on how to run their show:

Before this crash out this 5th day of "streamstars" has been quite slow, especially for the weekends (in views, active chatters and posts on socials). We got to see most of those who wanted to audition by now and plenty of boundaries have been pushed, nerfing the remaining "contestants" indirectly.
Production has been absolutely hands-off in the recent days with nothing getting "promoted" or faces showing up in the chat for more than a hello (or to shill their podcast). There also hasn't a challenge or something where people could compete for artificial points. Not that this was ever mentioned as being done but the streams within those FTL boundaries can only be this entertaining in the long run.
But even without challenges, the point system could be good but it obviously doesn't work when it is one guy only:

Before mints ended up in Cryo's stream from above he wanted to know from FellowBaldGirl what she'd be willing to do to get her points back up (she's been bombed into the negatives). He found her answers "boring" so then he went onto vecmen's empty stream to beg for his help "as the show has gone to total shit".

It's mostly my fault for expecting anything out of it (as many still speculate they might even not pick a single person) but this is akin to their late season burn outs in the FT seasons - cementing how little they respect their fans... Hope we at least get a new S2 episode this Friday huh..?

Edit: while I wrote this mints was talking with vecmen again via voice (he did that yesterday too) - letting himself get glazed about how cool he is... somehow someone from "production" is getting parasocial now and did not get the memo of the previous seasons.

It's not even a week, and most of them are either burned or or got kicked because they have become too much of a liability to them.

They would've done better to give two or three people the limelight for, say, a 12-24 hour period so they can do as much wacky shit as possible before burning out. Whoever ends up getting the most engagement (it shouldn't just be about who viewers like the most, you have to have hate magnets) during each 12-24 hour window gets through to the next round, and they whittle it down to a final three or something.

Know what Stream Stars reminds me a lot of, specifically? Season 2. Anyone who is interesting gets dogpiled and hyperfocused on until they either crash out or break the ever-changing rules and get booted off, leaving a bunch of boring coasters who hardly move while production scratches their heads and wonders why the show sucks now.
