But muh decorum! Never mind the fact you have Democrat politicians currently acting like theater kids and Obama pulling a "okay boomer" remark in his debate with Romney.
When the Democrats go against it they are being sophisticated and clever but when the Republicans do something similar suddenly the very idea of civility is at stake.

If you read any of Art of War AND any of the Tao te Ching, it will be impossible to remember which verses goes with which, because they’re basically the same.

It’s all self congratulatory poetry. Every verse promises you’ll win at everything if you can understand the mystery behind simple statements of opinion.

One that comes to mind, and to illustrate my point that they’re indistinguishable, I can’t remember which one it’s from, is “it is not the pot which is useful. It is the emptiness within the pot which is useful.”

Ok, the emptiness lets you put shit in it. But the purpose of a pot is usually cooking, right? And you can cook on a griddle, which is flat and therefore does not contain emptiness
I wish we had a little more Taoist influence in our culture to be honest. It would be nice to see activists struggle with the idea that activism itself is wrong and one should instead refuse to define, classify, or prefer anything. Instead, we're still running on the Protestant gasoline that says it's everyone's personal responsibility to interfere with every problem and fix it right now.

One of the reasons why the West has lost Africa is because we kept trying to force them to love gay sex. It's been a complete disaster.
I don't care at all about Africa bar the countries with mineral or oil wealth
We can pay off the local warlords to let us mine there and I don't care about soft power at all

When I first saw this woman, my first thought was "How the fuck did Tiffany Henyard get into Congress?"

You know how Null likes to say every woman in LA buys the same face from their plastic surgeons? It's the same shit for black politicians and hair weaves.
Excessively tight braids eventually cause follicular atoxia ie the hair roots die and fall out.

That's why so many black women are running around wearing wigs their sacred ancestral hairstyles that they don't want whitey stealing are causing them to go bald.

I get so tired of people saying "were giving up our soft power"

WHAT POWER? when was the last time any other country listened to us without us invading? We can't even get Europe to buy our cars.

Our soft power means nothing. Europe doesn't listen, no middle eastern shit hole will listen.

We have no soft power, that's just an excuse to endlessly support European freeloaders.

We have a military to fuck up someones day when people fuck with us, we don't need "soft power", and we don't have it anyways

Not unless we pair it with the fact that Ukraine’s biggest export, wheat, is directly contradictory to our interests in light of our UNUSED capacity to produce the same
Sounds like somebody needs an extra subsidy or ten for corn. Clearly you haven't been drinking enough of your HFCS ration.

If only it was this simple. African corruption is very, very different from corruption on any other continent. We can fund dictators in South America and that works. It does not work in Africa. South American dictators use the money to buy guns, train their soldiers, and solidify their political control. African dictators use the money to buy solid gold statues of themselves, genocide villages because they go click-click instead of click-clack, and buy Lambos for their favorite military officers.

It's just... different. They do things that reduce their odds of survival and kill everyone who stands in their way with zero discretion.

AG Pam Bondi just went on Levin and gave a few updates on the Epstein documents:

"I started asking for these documents right when I came into office."

"I found resources told me New York SDNY are sitting on thousands of pages of documents regarding Epstein."

"You know, Mark, I have not reviewed the information yet." "As a lawyer, as a prosecutor, I want to review everything before I make a firm conclusion. But I find it very interesting that they held that from us. I will find out who withheld that they will not be working for us anymore."

SPEND SOME OF THAT MILITARY ON BUILDING AMERICAN FACTORIES, HOSPITALS AND INFRASTRUCTURE.

FUCK EUROPE.

Trump, who rose to public prominence as the host of the hit show - The Apprentice? I'm sure he has no media training.

This is getting a bit annoying, people saying Trump must have media training cos he was on Apprentice.

Media training has jack shit with a scripted pseudo reality tv show.

Media training is basically a training on how to positively present yourself during interviews and in front of the journos.; how to sit, stand, what to do with your hands and how to redirect conversation when the question becomes uncomfortable, how to get public to like you. Which Trump clearly, most of the time, doesn't give a shit about .

No it's not, if history serves me it's biggest export is child porn. Or was. It took the FBI pretty much forcing them to shut down LS Magazine and other shit hole "model agencies" to even put a dent in their production

For the average person, they will literally wake up to the news and see "Canada has officially become a US territory". Overnight, they will become Cold Puerto Rico.
Holy shit.
It's the plot of Super Troopers 2, but on a much larger scale!

Here is a new press release from the U.S. Treasury.

Treasury Department Announces Suspension of Enforcement of Corporate Transparency Act Against U.S. Citizens and Domestic Reporting Companies

The Treasury Department is announcing today that, with respect to the Corporate Transparency Act, not only will it not enforce any penalties or fines associated with the beneficial ownership information reporting rule under the existing regulatory deadlines, but it will further not enforce any penalties or fines against U.S. citizens or domestic reporting companies or their beneficial owners after the forthcoming rule changes take effect either. The Treasury Department will further be issuing a proposed rulemaking that will narrow the scope of the rule to foreign reporting companies only. Treasury takes this step in the interest of supporting hard-working American taxpayers and small businesses and ensuring that the rule is appropriately tailored to advance the public interest.

“This is a victory for common sense,” said U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent. “Today’s action is part of President Trump’s bold agenda to unleash American prosperity by reining in burdensome regulations, in particular for small businesses that are the backbone of the American economy.”

Trump is obviously conscious of all those factors at all times. He's the most media-fluent chief executive we've ever had. You can dislike him personally, but it's irrelevant to this point because his triple victories while under massive media scrutiny prove that, in fact, he does objectively know how to advantageously present himself during interviews.

I would think "soft power" would mean that America is the center of the world relative to culture, consumer/spending power and influence. Example: you see all these "save the world" or diasaster films, the majority of them center around America being the hero.

I would agree that under the Biden administration, our grasp as a superpower towards the rest of the world has weakened to being the world police while receiving the short end of the stick on trades and immigration. I feel many countries envy us because of our military power, but we're caught up on cultural/social issues, we're corrupting ourselves from within with divide which allows other countries to take advantage.
