Every time I look up educational videos about trans people or issues on YouTube I get the few actual ones that are backed by science and then I get a shit ton of transphobic bullshit saying stuff like "woke Libs get owned", "trans teachers are ruining children", and "ex trans tells you why kids shouldn't transition". It's so annoying, I just want to be able to find stuff to educate myself and my family members on what l'm experiencing but I have to scroll through the sea of Ben Shaperio, Pregure U (sic), Matt Walsh, and Turning Point USA making shit up when they don't even know me or my experience. YouTube needs to stop putting their "educational" transphobic content in with the stuff that actually helps explain how being trans works.

YouTube's algorithm recommends videos that are most popular, interesting that these the ones showing up huh? Maybe more people than you think are fed up this shit, they just don't say it to you because they don't want to be fired or kicked out of class for genociding a troon's poor feelings. Also it's very telling that they consider videos like this that are simply criticizing the ideology, not outright calling for the fabled troon concentration camps and TTD, as hateful. If the majority of them really did just wanted to be left alone and given equal rights like everyone else as they say, they wouldn't see a video advising kids not to troon out as a transphobic attack.

If you take it personally when it was not targeted at you, it says more about you than the person saying it.
