DOW is down 700 points. Great job Donny Dipshit.

This dumbass just killed the economy.

That’s how the USSR entered into starvation.

>Elect Trump based on the economy
>Trump tanks the economy by 6% the first quarter he's in office

"Ackshually this was part of the plan!"

Unhinged. You can't make this shit up.
The USAID, DEI, and various Griftbux are no longer maintaining and inflating the numbers. The BRRRing moneyprinter is being throttled down.

Self correction was inevitable.

gdp is for fags

having sex with your wife doesn’t contribute to GDP, but paying an OF model does. gdp maximalists care only about money moving around and not the reason why money is moving around
These idiots want their wife spending all their savings on her boyfriend CHAD THUNDERCOCK when they are not around instead of saving towards a boat.

Idiots!

This is due to exports collapse. It's worth noting that the Great Depression was brought about by, among other factors, tariffs that were supposed to guard USA industries against foreign competition:

So seriously though, what is everyone's opinion on Trump scamming Americans with his bullshit coins?
I don't get why crypto pisses off leftists so much. (Ditto for NFTs btw.) You say it's a scam, OK so what? If you don't like it then don't buy it. Nobody's forcing you to.

I find it hilarious that for the past 5 years, lefties gave zero shits about the economy and now they are laser focused on the price of eggs when Trump has only been in office for a little over a month.

Amazing. And entirely predictable.

I don't know a single Trump supporter who doesn't know that it's going to take time to correct the pain that the last 4-5 years have inflicted on the country.

Now listen here, jack. Can't make an omelette without safeguarding domestic egg production.

"You can be unbanned Hasan but you need to do one thing for the deal ok. You said some terrible things, some awful things, and this guy, they call him the candyman, and we like that, I love candy some even say more than Willy Wonka, the GREAT Willy Wonka. This Candyman just wants to have a talk with you at your house in REAL LIFE and the ban is gone Hasan."

You’ll love tariffs until you go to the store this week. Enjoy $10 milk.
That's a retarded argument and you know it, don't play bullshit games. The price of milk is almost entirely controlled by logistics costs. American dairy farms dump out close to 3 million gallons a day, that's just gone not reused or repurposed. Just emptied onto the ground or into pits. We make way more than we need, and a hell of a lot more than we can realistically move around/keep in storage. So what do you do with the milk that needs a special refrigerated truck to transport for processing and distribution? Nothing you either pour it out or start killing cows to lower daily production. The cows don't care if the truck didn't come today to pick up yesterday's milk, they still need to be milked twice a day.

I understand that people think food grows on cargo ships and in grocery stores but it pains me to see shit like this, especially when I don't think it's bait. Kiwi's remember to educate yourselves on logistics, procurement and distribution, it's very important in regards to making good investments.

My grandparents were still the type of people who did not buy vegetables. There was a garden in summer and a lot of canning at the end of it.

I think my parents were of the first generation that worried about grocery bills
It really doesn't take much. If worried about cost a huge chunk of Americans could easily grow stuff on a balcony or near a kitchen windows for herbs even if they don't have access to dirt. Many places also have community gardens for those with no backyard. Farmers markets with local produce are also growing increasingly common - this is where I get the vast majority of my produce in the summer and I don't find it's that expensive as the flavors go much further due to the higher quality. I also get some locally made pickles, pickled garlic okra and other veg to supplement during winter. Plus jelly and jam my grandparents make and send me. People don't even know what they're missing when they eat the flavorless modified varietals built to last on a grocery store shelf.

The other factor is that if subsidies are removed and demand for fruits and vegetables goes up, farmers may be able to focus on this to increase production and meet demand. This will have the added bonus of potentially better tasting produce because they don't have to be bred to last long travel times. Heritage varietals taste better and are more nutritious.

Add to this that there is interest in supporting local farmers and ranchers in moving to regenerative agriculture, some varieties of which you use the same land to produce both livestock and produce in a mutually beneficial way. This can help diversify yield and add some resiliency for the farmer - they're not all in one thing.

Lastly for those saying you can't make enough crop for humans and animals it's worth noting that for cattle the fast majority of "crop" they're eating is inedible to humans. It's stuff like corn husks and wheat stalks. They digest the cellulose we can't.
For pigs and chickens they can eat food waste. In some areas they take expired stuff from grocery stores and feed it to the pigs and chickens to reduce wasteage. Not sure about in the US, but it can be done.

No as in it was literally an insider rugpull. Go watch coffeezilla's video on it.

I didn't buy in, I didn't get scammed, who did were 200,000 Trump voters that had never bought crypto before.
