Left turns always worry me because my depth perception is shit and I'm bad at judging the speed cars are coming on a left turn so I always piss off people behind me while I wait for a long enough gap to go. That video is why.

No, its not a matter of hesitation but that she ran a red light, here's how the intersection looks from her perspective:
She had two whole lanes to wait for her turn but didn't. The biker was going way above the limit but even if he didn't her running a red light would've killed him anyway.

You can see the red light for the straight lanes in that direction and I'm pretty sure you're not going to have either a yield green or a green arrow in that situation so I think she might have ran it.

I've seen one doing the rounds where this tree just randomly decides to drop half it's top branches on this woman right as she pauses, If she'd have carried on for three steps she'd have been fine, if She'd have stopped to check her phone a few seconds earlier she'd have been fine.

Same thing with me. I would rather piss ppl off than risk my life. Never go unless u know its safe. In this case, this girl made a left on a red light. Which is illegal and that dumb mistake costed her life and another guy's life. U could argue that biker was going to fast but he didn't start it.

The correct response to this clip is to say "Ooh, that's gnarly" and drive/ride a little more cautiously, because even if you're God's gift to motoring half the people out there are below average and quite a few are outright retarded: Sooner or later you will meet a retard at an intersection, and at that point it's up to you to save yourself, or wind up here.
Also, to invest in a good dashcam, because that's a quality clip.

There's green lights for going straight, (on the right of this zoom) and red for turning (on the left). Zoom in more and you can even see the turn sign:

(Edit: Also, look at the blur on the bike's headlight in that first picture. And that's after you hear him slow down. Crazy fucker was going to die at some point soon anyway.)

I do not understand the appeal of a motorcycle unless you're poor or have a death wish. Bikers are just as delusional as their manual powered cyclist kin in how they think other people need to obey traffic laws but they're exempt.

Nigger do your eyes not work? It's a stoplight. The car recording is stopped because ........the light is red. Traffic is flowing from left to right because the other road/flow of traffic has a green light. This dumb bitch, possibly drunk but it's a female driver so could be stone cold sober, pulls up across from the stopped car. This means she's on the same road as him but traveling in the opposite direction. This also means her light is also red. Then she made a LEFT turn, which you cannot do on red pretty much anywhere in the US, only a right.
I hope for everyone else you don't operate a motor vehicle you dumb obstinate fuck. She made an illegal red light left and killed someone. It's 100% her fault. It doesn't matter if the bike is doing 10 or 10,000 MPH he had a green light

Apologies for the MS Paint diagram, but in case anyone was confused by the road layout. The motorcyclist was going too fast, but he had right of way and she was indeed running a red light. She may have not been paying attention, or she may have somehow gotten confused and assumed that she was allowed to turn because the through-traffic in the lanes next to her had a green light.

I think some of her hesitation came from misjudging the rate of speed due to how far away the bike was. She saw the bike in the distance and started to go for it. She then realized how fast it was going and hesitated.
Being 18 this would have been a learning moment in her life.
I had one instance when I first started driving where I'm lucky the other driver was paying attention. Now it's my turn to be eternally vigilant and get pissed when another driver does something stupid that I avoid.
Really sucks that someone that young doing something positive with their life didn't make it.
