Careful with the Ukraine stuff, don't want the thread locked again now do we
Why? It's a big part of US politics right now. If people want talk about the war in Ukraine in ways that don't involve US politics, there are two threads for that.
I told my story before, but it's worth repeating.

I was underage in 2016 but would've voted for Trump purely because of GamerGate, and then I voted for him in 2020 but regret it in hindsight because his 1st Term was so disappointing that he wasn't worth voting for again.

My original plan last year was to vote for RFK, since Trump's actions between 2019-2023 really pissed me off (Bump Stock incident, his weak and ineffective posturing during Floyd's Summer of Love, the retarded media circus about him going to prison, etc.).

Then, I remember being at a family member's birthday party when I decided to browse Twitter to pass the time, and I saw a dumb AI video of a Trump assassination. And then I saw it again. And then I saw it again and realized holy fuck it's real.

I was probably going to vote for Trump in that very moment, but RFK's decision to drop out was what sealed the deal.
If you think his first term was disappointing, then you are either not very smart or very naive. Trumps first term was full of obstruction. But he still managed to get some things done. The second term was always supposed to be the crazy shit term.

Putin is the only one actually holding up negotiations btw and withholding military aid will only make Putin less likely to negotiate.
Putin doesn't need to negotiate is why. The point is to have Ukraine agree to terms then bring Russia on board. Hence why Trump has gone out of his way to not piss off the Russians because unlike Ukraine, he has no leverage over them whereas Ukraine was reliant on US aid

But he still managed to get some things done.
And it was immediately undone once Joe got in. Trump is using the executive branch for all it's worth this time around, but everything hinges on the legislative branch. They are playing ball with his appointments but the real test is if they will solidify some of his big EOs into law so they can't be undone by the next guy.

*solid market advice from a prospering day trader not suffering from TDS or anything*

"TRUMP could be here" he thought, "I've never gambled this much before. TRUMP could be anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare jowls. "I HATE DONALD TRUMP" he thought. The theme song from the hit 80's TV series "Roseanne" reverberated his entire car, making it pulsate as the overpriced bag of Canadian milk circulated through his powerful thick gunt and washed away his (merited) fear of presidents after dark. "With $400, you can buy any dip you want" he said to himself, out loud.

Dems stole the election which allowed them to do that. But early on in his first term Trump was facing obstruction from the Republicans as well. When he tried to do anything regarding trade it was the republicans blocking him. People like Paul Ryan and other never Trump people. They were back Desantis.

I think Trump would need more control of the executive brand to have his EO's turned into laws. I'm not sure there is enough republicans in there now to make that possible.

Fort Benning is back:

It's now named after Corporal Fred G. Benning, a WWI veteran.
I'm still not sure how I feel about the renaming. It's good they're doing it, and by renaming them after war heroes with the same name it's sure to irritate leftists because they can't really criticize it. A clever loophole to generate maximum seething.

OTOH, they're naming them for low ranking guys, not generals, and part of me wishes they had the balls to just restore the Confederate names.

I'm glad we're going through this bullshit now with the Epstein files so hopefully they won't try to pull the same crap with the JFK files. Was probably for the best they did these first.

Someone posted some Ministry and holy shit; they have ALWAYS been TDS: The Band. Great musicians, but completely delusional. Here is 🍔 🍔 an old one.
I'd love you guys to know more about people like this, it's what pushes the underground.
