Wait a minute....blue eyes as a baby...brown eyes when grown...but that...oh god please let this be an animation error because it's been 15 years since they last animated these characters...please for the love of chimes don't let shrek go down the Rainbow road too....specially the baby blue pink and white colored branch.
There's a lot of babies born blonde and blue who lose both as they grow up. So... cling to that I guess?

Apparently it's a coloring error since this preview was rushed by dreamworks to make it look like zadenya or whatever her name is, casting wasn't leaked. No no nothing in to see here we announced it officially have this sneak peak as proof.

Why are they simultaneously embarrassed but also trying to act like they're proud they cast a gen z bait actor in addition to the millienal bait of dragging the aging cast from the original out of retirement?

Oh by the by to quote myself quoting Brian griffin in the shrek thread.

"I tell ya every year I recognize fewer and fewer names.:

If you have to say “Oh, was [shitty media] REALLY that bad?”, the answer is yes more often than not.

if it really "wasn't that bad", why was it dogpiled on by pretty much everyone? Why wasn't a second season greenlit?

Goddamn it, I saw Andy Merrill tweet this out about an hour ago. I loved Lowe's take on Space Ghost and his other VA roles always managed to crack me up. RIP to one of Adult Swim's greatest. :(

Also, I noticed that article mentions that Lowe passed away after a long illness. I can only hope he was in as little pain as possible during the end and that he passed away peacefully.

Oh, you know, the same reason any of these creatively-bankrupt pieces of smug idpol propaganda fail to become financial successes: THE NAZI CHUDS FREAKIN' REVIEW-BOMBED IT AND GASLIT PEOPLE INTO BEING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF FREAKIN' HISTORY!

These videos almost always end up concluding that "Hey, it's not the worst thing anyone has possibly created." and acts like that's a compliment in the slightest. Like, yes, most things that fail aren't the worst thing ever, there's always something worse out there; which makes it absolutely meaningless as a defence. All while repeating "But they put their heart and soul into it..." as gospel.

The stories of media like Fembusters, the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, High Guardian Spice, etc., have nothing to do with a bunch of "neckbeard incel Nazi terrorists" spontaneously getting pissed off for no reason. Those controversies can be boiled down to consumers being let down by poor products. It does not and should not represent anything beyond that. Over the past decade or so, however, there has been a consolidated effort to write off negative audience reception as irrational behavior, as if we're too stupid to appraise the value of what's in front of our own eyes.

Nowadays, woke/bad media doesn't get panned, it gets "review-bombed". "All of those bad reviews my piece-of-shit game/show/movie/etc. has gotten is a coordinated conspiracy by a bunch of people who want to ruin my reputation on purpose! It can't possibly be because we made an offensively bad piece of shit!" Lucky you, right? For a second there, you might actually have had to think about where you went wrong and made something that actually appeals to the people you hate.

I'm late for Shrek 5 teaser, but I'm not that frantic about Zendaya. It's not like actors in Shrek are something new. Overall I feel that people are going to be disappointed no mater what considering how long we were waiting for this movie. Character designs? I mean eh, I prefer older versions, but on the other hand it's so funny to me when people expect Sonic treatment so badly. These 2 are completely different situations. In one the only thing that needed to be fixed was Sonic himself and in case of Shrek we are talking about entire animated movie. I don't think that DreamWorks really gives a fuck about that the audience thinks in that case.

Btw happy Disney failure during The Oscars for a third year in a row. I expected Wild Robot to win and it's my personal favourite nominated feature, but I also love Flow. If I had to rank animated nominees then it would be The Wild Robot > Flow > Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl > Inside Out 2. Unfortunately I haven't seen Memoir of a Snail.

My answer to that sentiment always remains the same:

And also "Crunchyroll diverted funds that should've gone to giving their translators a raise to instead make an original property they own all the rights to that they wouldn't have to share the profits of distribution with."

The general apathy surrounding the show says it all. Most "bad" shows at least inspire some passion in its fans (and hatebase I guess), but who was really hoping this would do well?
