500 lb calf. I bet you think a Ferrari shouldn't cost $500,000 "because it's just a car" and "they can't possibly pay their factory workers 20x more than Toyota does." Which they don't.

There's a reason luxury goods are expensive, and it actually isn't because they make 500% profit margins. They don't. They typically make much, much lower margins. It's expensive to run a company, and when you sell 1% as many goods as the mass-produced slop, you're going to sell your products for a lot more, because 100% of your company's expenses come from revenues.
A ferrari costs 500k because people who buy ferraris are total retards. See the fact that they use the exact same parts as cheap chevy shit but charge like 500 dollars for them to be replaced. Luxury cars are fucking retarded largely because the "luxury" is all in the looks and not in substance. I think Sam Hyde is 100% right on this shit.

All the meat/butter/whatever animal products are bad “research” is a bunch of bullshit funded by green food companies to make people buy their shit.
That and I'm beginning to suspect that certain immigrants coming in who refuse to eat meat are trying to promote it in the west. I had an Indian doctor tell me the best thing for my diet was to cut out meat completely. I immediately ignored her advice.

I'd pay double for American high quality appliances. I'm sick of buying appliances that fall apart after a handful of years. My parents had an American fridge that went 30+ years.

My first washing machine I bought used and it finally died at almost 20 yrs old. My second was good-range quality (officially), but died around 4 yrs old. I've had to buy a new dishwasher every 4 to 5 years.

I had a Chinese made coffee maker itself on in the middle of the night. It almost burned the kitchen, but the fire alarm went off when it smoked badly enough.
People in the past didn't have this keynesian brainrot as infected in them so they saved and made strategic purchases.

Keynesianism amplifies this cheap shit, which isn't good for the environment and I doubt the child labor is having fun.

The "it's cheaper" argument never made sense for me.

If people want to be retarded with their money it's their right. The utilitarian rationalized market where only thing that are maximally required and efficient is the same mindset managerialist globohomo have who would seek everyone to go in stripped down soviet cars (at best).

Rather hilarious given the rates of diabetes in India.
Edit: To clarify, India has high rates of diabetes and are largely vegetarian. Telling someone to eat like an Indian to improve their health is retarded.

"I don't think a pair of shoes should cost 600 dollars, there's no way they cost nearly that much to produce if even half of that"
Depending on the grade of hide, yes, the material cost can easily soar over $600, and depending on the construction techniques used (particularly handstitched moc/split toes), labor costs can be staggering when only 2 or 3 people in a given factory can execute the design.

Shoes do not magically appear out of nowhere. You have to pay clickers to cut the hide, lastmakers to shape the last of the shoe (that determines the silhouette and fit), and that's before you even get to the people who actually put the raw materials together to make a functional end product. Many, many pairs of hands touch a single pair of shoes before it passes QC and leaves the factory, where logistics and retail take a part of the cut. When you add all their wages together, add the unavoidable overhead costs of operating under a traditional retail model, and add in the material costs, $600 is really not that crazy for a high quality, well made product.

f you told Articles & Hitlerings to draw what they imagined "Rep. Lateefah Simon (D-CA)" looked like you'd be told this was a little TOO racist of a stereotype
I stumbled on this back in June 2024 thanks to @KiwiFuzz2 posting about the Life of Washington mural in the A&N thread High school DEI office accuses students of 'white supremacy' over senior gift of Thor mural in Washington State. You can imagine my amazement when I absentmindedly hovered over the hyperlink for Lateefah Simon and revealed her shheeeeeiiiittt visage. Wonky eyes, chapped lips the same burgundy color, earrings, cavernous nostrils, gapped teeth, and brain-dead grin--naturally, I assumed it was a bit of very clever wiki vandalism. But to my delight, she turned out to be real! So I posted a ss and the meme for comparison in the thread, feeling a little sad that such a marvelous happenstance wouldn't get more exposure.

And now, by a wonderful bit of serendipity, EVERYONE knows about it. THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT! :semperfidelis:

Okay but why? Why are we destroying Canada's economy while hurting Americans? Because we can? Is that the point?
No. The point is the US wanted reciprical things and did not get them. Not punching back has allowed your allies to walk all over you for decades.

Frequently to help people long term it requires they suffer in the short.

I refuse to see Indian doctors. I prefer white male English-native doctors, though I will begrudgingly tolerate Asians if only because they're still competent, if not completely understandable when they speak. They don't get offended when you ask them to repeat themselves like the pajeets do, though.

And yes, I've walked out of clinics who try to pair me up with a 'jeet and refuse to swap out for a good doctor. I've always been honest in explaining why, and any time they've given me lip, I explain "it's my money, I decide who I see, not you." Dirty looks? Occasionally, but my health is more important than appearing virtuous.
