Honestly, I'm surprised she wasn't arraigned and then released on her own recognizance, especially given that she's an unemployed, oxygen-dependent deathfat with multiple serious health conditions and limited mobility; she poses a real liability while incarcerated. That the judge bothered to demand bail (especially if she's a first-time offender) makes me think she really earned that felony 3rd-degree assault charge. Here is the statute defining 3rd-degree assault in Washington State, but basically, it includes various categories of people who, if you assault them in the course of their work, increases the seriousness of the charge. That includes cops and health care workers.

So did she punch a nurse for not giving her what she wanted? Or did she take a swing at a cop who responded to the call? I want to see that police report so bad right now.

And I love that nobody has posted bail for her. It's only $250 to get her fat ass out of jail, yet she hasn't done it herself and nobody else has stepped forward to do it. Which can mean a variety of things: she doesn't have the money herself; nobody who actually cares about her has the money; and/or nobody cares about her, period, and they're content to let her enjoy an extended vacation at the Graybar Hotel.

She then goes to piss and breaks the fatphobic toilet off the wall and throws another tantrum like the one that got her put in jail in the first place. The prison guards refuse to wipe her ratchet cunt so she goes to "bed" with a urine-induced yeast infection brewing because she couldn't wipe. Then she gets her "meals" which are about a tenth of the size of her usual feedings and no snacks or sweets in between. How outrageous and fatphobic!!!

Nah; as of this minute, there's no release date, and she's still listed as housed in the Benton County jail. She's listed as active because she's eligible for release on bail but the bail process hasn't been completed.

This is day four of her jail saga, and, to steal from PolIssa's thread, NO HELP CAME. Her public defender has no doubt tried contacting any family or friends whose names she gave him, and nobody—nobody—has decided she's worth $250. Nobody even has to drive to Kennewick or take care of her afterward, but everyone who knows her is content to let her sit in jail.

That's some massive failure as far as being a human being goes.

Also, while I'm at it, I call bullshit on her claims that she's been the subject of racial discrimination due to being a black woman. I had never heard her claim that she was black before this past two weeks, when the cops weren't doing what she wanted. You'd think she would have added racism to her claims against airlines of fatphobia, but she never did.

She has very curly hair, but there are plenty of white people with little or no black ancestry who have that. There is nothing in her facial features that suggests she's black (just fat). So I'm going to stand by my prior insistence that she's maybe 1/16 at best—just enough to know she's got some black ancestry, but not enough for it to be obvious.

We already know that she lies and creates victim drama in order to get her own way, so I see no reason why anybody should believe her regarding her claims to blackness.

I've been wondering about their finances since that happened, and her relying on a public defender due to indigence just brings up more questions.

Spoiler: So, to fire up the Speculation Bus:

I suspect she talked her bf into financing a career for her as a travel influencer and fat/disability activist by using credit cards, with the promise that they would soon be raking in the big influencer bucks while getting to travel whenever they pleased. You can't tell me this dude is a genius, or that he had any other dating options besides JaeBae, so to keep the one gf he was likely to get happy (and because why would she steer him wrong?) he went along with it. Her first travel-centric YouTube video went up in June 2021; I don't know if there was earlier travel content on her other social media.

I think she managed to keep the grift going through what money did come her way via sponsored social media posts, affiliate links, coupon codes, and YouTube monetization; that stuff all adds up (it keeps Corissa afloat). And you can't tell me she didn't use the power of indignant piggy squealing to chisel refunds and comped airline tickets, hotel rooms, and food out of their providers as often as possible. She knows all the right language to use regarding accessibility and discrimination, knows how to maximize it to get wider attention, and you can't tell me she didn't weaponize that as often and as ruthlessly as possible

Obviously, her career as a widebody travel and lifestyle influencer didn't turn out to be a huge moneymaker, given that she and the boyfriend were living at his parents' house, and his car got reposessed. I suspect there was a real come-to-Jesus moment for him when his car got repoed, and maybe he's had to face the fact that he's been the cucked and credit-raped Peetz to Jaelynn's rapacious Chantal. And cutting off further funding (likely with his parents' active encouragement) would have been enough to make Jaelynn stage the mother of all tantrums. Other people exist to serve her; she's made that abundantly clear, and she doesn't tolerate the word "No" well at all.

We already know she only tells stories that make her look right, or like the unfairly victimized party. And you can't tell me she's not a shameless user of other people, and good at manipulating weak people to give her what she wants. She is totally the kind of person to cook up vague claims of domestic violence, get the cops involved, and get a DV shelter to pay for a hotel room.

She'd already had one massive narcissistic injury surrounding the San Diego trip, where VIP accommodations were allegedly promised and allegedly didn't materialize, and drama definitely ensued. I don't doubt she was actually sick (there's a crappy flu going around), and she victim-maxxed it with an ER visit and hospital stay (not unrealistic, considering her shitty health). So to get home after that, only to have the humiliation of the car getting repo'ed a couple of weeks later, and have a financial Jugment Day arrive on top of it? No wonder she's been in a gleefully vengeful mood while in meltdown mode.

She may not have any money because there just isn't any, now that the bf has been tapped out. Deathfats are, more often than not, terrible at managing money, because the same impulsivity and comfort-seeking that drives them to overeat leads them to overspend.

At any rate, she's in jail now (and probably in the infirmary, given her health conditions, size, and inability to care for herself), which is probably the best place for her at the moment because she has no money, no car, nobody willing to take her in, and is now legit homeless. If she was getting her hotel room paid for by a DV shelter, that's going to come to an end once they find out she got arrested, and why.

It takes a lot of resources to sue someone; civil court is a war of attrition, the one with the deepest pockets wins.

On the criminal side, hiring your own criminal attorney can be expensive AF; if the charge is serious enough, like murder, it can rack up six or even seven figures to defend against it if it goes to trial and even if the defendant wins, they might have put up their house to pay the attorneys and end up free but homeless and broke.

I wonder if she’s paid taxes on all the ‘freebie’ stuff she’s been getting, that could be another whole can of worms for her. Big Queer fiancé doesn’t look like much of a go getter so living with his brother and sister in law was as good as it get for the both of them, especially since her other love is still in prison.

Last I heard for student loans you have to prove undue hardship to get them discharged through bankruptcy. Like crippling disability where you’re unable to work.

God, if you're a Kiwi, please hear my prayers and grant me the joy of watching Jae become a convicted felon. Obviously it's unlikely her charges would actually be taken that far - courts are appallingly lenient these days, in my opinion - but ah, imagine! She tries often to style herself in very dainty, feminine ways (in spite of being a volatile hog IRL) so the contrast of her being a felonious wretch would be hilarious as well as complete and utter advertiser anathema.

Her easy traveling days would be over, and it would also make any attempts to get out of the social influencer game and gain real employment quite difficult as felons typically get the most miserable, backbreaking labor kinds of jobs. And given that her family have left her high and dry, she would definitely be at risk of homelessness as many landlords absolutely despise renting to felons due to both the stigma of being a felon as well as the fact that felons, consistently, do make for shitty tenants.

I am not a lawyer nor do I know Washington procedure, but I enjoy looking these sorts of things up. I would think those charges, being misdemeanors, do not carry a mandatory hold. She would be released on her own recognizance after booking, if those were her only charges. If somehow they dropped the felony charge, she would be free to go because anyone charged with those crimes (and only those crimes) would be let go.
