How is the Angel Heart anime? Its City Hunter but not City Hunter and there's a female lead? Or is Ryo the lead?

You ever watch Bleach and be like "What if Chet Hanks had a Bankai called 'Infinite White Boy Summer' that made everyone within a certain radius engage in interracial relationships?"
Really though, I'm honestly having a really good time with the new anime and highly recommend it even if you didn't finish the first one. They just don't make battle shonen like this anymore, nothing really has the unique coolness factor that older ones did except for maybe Black Clover as cringe as it is to say.

Finished watching Panty and Stocking on dub. The dub is OK. It gets the job done and for people who cant be bothered to read sub text. I just love it when Japanese girls speak broken English and say the most vile shit you can think off. The script flows alot smoothly in Japanese while in English it feels like they have to talk in double speed at times to synch in with the lip movements.

Here is hoping for season 2.

Im finally going to start watching Trigun (the old version on dub). looking forward to it.

This bullshit popped up on Mangadex as a staff pick, yes a staff pick, and for fun I tried to see what was up.

This is pretty cursed, but there are definitely far worse mangas/hentais than this.

There is no "rock bottom" when it comes to Japanese media.

It’s the fact that it’s a staff pick that cracks me up, and I’m flipping through it and bro it’s just bizarre yurifag shit.
Nigga could have recommended All Rounder Meguro or something, but no, it was a feet kinda day at the office.

Yuri trash (do not redeem). Kill all lesbians.

The Cyber Formula OVAs continue to be really cool. You can see lots of the ideas (and flaws) that would reappear in SEED. Zero was basically the proto-Freedom since Hayato has to deal with new psychic powers and gets taunted by a bunch of funny-haired rivals, and he faces a big failure at the beginning. Zero also had Lacus's backyard, and the new rival had the same design as Yzak. Zero had lots of filler and it got really stupid at times, but it resolved itself by the end -- Fukuda has a reputation as the trainwreck director, but as Freedom showed, if you continue on and try to read between the lines, his "trainwrecks" will resolve themselves into something really good. In SAGA, this is where Toshihiko Sahashi starts composing, so the music is great, there's a character with Dearka's design, and there's a long black-haired character played by Shuichi Ikeda who takes control of Team AOI with a plan to give them an Asurada clone. Here's what I've learned about SEED from these OVAs so far:
-Freedom having Kira and Lacus be more flawed wasn't a response to complaints about Jesus Yamato; it was copying Zero.
-Waltfeld is a copy of Schumacher since Schumacher becomes Team SUGO's manager.
-Clayton Henri (the Yzak clone) was pushed into racing by his dad, and everything he does is to live up to those expectations. Similarly, Orphee did everything he did so he could live up to Aura's expectations. This means that the Accords cannot use the Destiny Plan properly, even if Foundation was prosperous, because they're forcing their own ambitions on others, including other Accords. The Accords don't really believe in the Destiny Plan, so they're as hypocritical as Durandal.
-AOI's new manager is copying the best team's technology and strategy; this is similar to how Durandal tries to make the Minerva into ZAFT's own Archangel to the extent of making a fake Lacus that supports them. Durandal is reactionary because he has nothing original to offer as a leader, so he uses the opaque, unclear (though correct at the core) justification of "genes" to make himself an absolute leader. Durandal's lack of anything to offer is why he speaks publicly so much; he hopes to win people over with pretty words rather than actions. This stands in opposition to how the Archangel team acts and doesn't speak much -- they aren't terrorists; they act professionally and silently because they know they have good intentions and don't need to win anyone over.

Trigun's OST is something truly special. I can't think of another anime with that particular kind of "sound". It nails the western vibe at times, but of course, it's Madhouse.

Are you really surprised a website that is 100% tranny run is like this?
I'm surprised people find a yuri scent fetish manga even mildly shocking. If you are on the kiwifarms or anything more than a casual fan of anime/manga you should have seen weirder things online or in the medium itself.
Look at my pfp, I am not exactly a Yuri afficianado nor do I know the details regarding who runs Mangadex.
I just didn't expect a manga about a girl trying to sniff girls, that wasn't on my to-do list today it just popped up.

It's not that I find it shocking. I just don't like Yuri and think that it should be relentlessly mocked and made fun of at any time and for any reason. Lesbians, especially the "lesbians", should be made to feel beneath the rest of us.

Holy cow. SAGA has done brilliant things with the Durandal expy, Nagumo. He's pumping up the Dearka clone, Fritz, full of drugs that cause erratic behaviour because he wants to push a human-car linkage technology -- in other words, he's using an Extended to do his bidding! He even treats Fritz like Meer when he trots him out in press conferences, and he clashes with a Team AOI executive, who happens to be a woman -- in other words, we got to see how Durandal treats Talia when she won't do his bidding! He also rubs out Hayato when he objects because he believes humans and cars should work together and that humans shouldn't become cars. This brings up lots of interesting questions:
1. There's a theory that Logos created Coordinators and wanted to make them ultra-obedient ubermensch who could work for the old farts in Logos and rebuild society, but the obedience technology was very volatile, which is why the Extendeds have so many issues. Could Durandal have used this on Meer, Rey, and maybe even Shinn?
2. If Durandal is using this technology, then it confirms he was part of Logos at one point or at the very least, has the same mindset as them. Even without Cyber Formula, he's a massive control freak, so why wouldn't he hardwire everyone around him for obedience? Everyone around him defied his will eventually, but he had to use smaller doses so they wouldn't go crazy like the Extendeds. He may have been able to use larger doses on Rey and Meer because Meer just has to keep up tightly-dictated appearances, and Rey's most important roles are more psychological than physical -- scaring Kira by being a zombie Rau and keeping Shinn hating Orb and loving Durandal. The obedience tech wasn't used that heavily on Shinn because he was too good a pilot. Given how psychologically volatile Hayato tends to be, Durandal was probably counting on Kira losing it at some point and easily getting defeated -- which the Accords succeeded at. Could Durandal and the Accords have come up with a plan to take out the Ultimate Coordinator together?
3. Nagumo repeatedly tells Fritz that his only purpose in life is to win races. It's implied that Durandal said similar things to Rey and Shinn (or at the very least groomed them into that mindset), and he tried to say the same to Athrun, but in the language of freedom to carve one's own path. Can you imagine what the Destiny Plan under Durandal would be like? It wouldn't be objectivity; it would be psychological abuse to keep people in whichever place he deems most convenient for himself.
4. Fritz wears a robotic suit and mask when racing; this reflects how Nagumo sees him as a (literal) machine-man who could win races for him. Similarly, we can say Durandal didn't even see anyone around him as humans, but as androids who could do his bidding. This mindset is in contrast to what a well-executed Destiny Plan would be, where nobody is reduced to an android and everyone gets to live as their true selves free from misplaced ambitions and societal pressures.
5. Hayato's opposition to Nagumo is based in ideals of cooperation rather than dehumanization. Kira and the Archangel team support cooperation and oppose reducing people to easily-manipulated pawns. Their intervention in wars is to further cooperation; they hope to show that fighting won't do anything and that everyone should cooperate. A Destiny Plan under Kira and Lacus would work well because of this cooperation; nobody would try to upstage one another. By the way, the Archangel's interventions aren't terrorism but a last-ditch attempt to protect Orb -- in Freedom, Kira tricks Orphee into aiming Requiem at the Millennium rather than Orb, so the Archangel was fighting to protect Orb from getting into a war with ZAFT.
Even with all this new information, there's something oddly unsatisfying about these OVAs. The races are very short, there's lots of filler, and the cars look very similar to each other after 11. It's also clear that most of the ideas Fukuda has were developed in these OVAs plus Dendoh -- it kind of feels like realizing how derivative Evangelion is. I still think Destiny is a very mature, interesting story (though original SEED is a lame 0079 ripoff that's only good for the Bucue, the Raider, and the ships), but it's really cheapened when you realize it was all done before earlier. Also, the Sahashi music makes these OVAs feel like Utena for some reason.
