It's only ordering the unfreezing of $2bn to pay contractors for already completed work. Not that big of a deal.

Ya it's effectively a nothing burger that will just give the MSM something to run with all day.
And it keeps the public from seeing the Democrats making fools of themselves last night. How convenient 🤨

Watching the Democrats I realized Trump could literally have declared he was going to have the government pay for free full healthcare for all Americans and pay for it by raising taxes on the rich to 60% rates and they wouldn't have clapped.

Sligjt correction though...unlike most consumer products made 50-100 years ago, cars were only made to last a few years. Old cars were notorious for being junk after 50k miles up until the 90s or so. 100 years ago, you needed to be a minor mechanic to just operate a car, adjusting the engine, topping off the water and oil. Junkyards in the 20s were already full of broke cars. In the 50s and 60s, if your car had over 40k miles, it was time for a new one, which is why so many Boomers have fond memories of driving "junker" or jalopy classic cars that were from like 1963 when they were teens in 1968. 70s-80s cars would rust out after a couple years.

Contrast that to today where a car with 80,000 miles is just getting started if you change the oil every 10k (3k was probably not good enough in 1955). People are driving 8-10 year old cars like they're brand new.

This doesn't hold true for a toaster from 1940 or a fridge from 1970 which could work for decades. Hell, I have a clock radio with wood grain in my bedroom from 1984 which works perfectly fine.
You've got the right idea, but you're missing two major factors.

Cars from back in the day were designed to be worked on by their owners, and it wasn’t that hard to do. Everything was different back then, men had real skills to fix things themselves.

Yes, modern cars last longer in terms of mileage, but repair costs are through the roof. I’ve been a professional in the automotive industry since 2001. I cut my teeth on European cars from the '80s and '90s, and keeping those on the road was significantly cheaper than maintaining cars from the 2010s and beyond. I’ve made more money fixing pointless issues in modern cars, problems that shouldn't even exist but have to be repaired just because the check engine light is on. (Looking at you, BMW—radiator grilles triggering a check engine light? LMAO. Ridiculous, but thanks for the $$$.) I drive a 2012 Ford, and my wife drives a 2003 Ford.

Anyone who buys a new car is either unaware of the repair costs or just a clueless idiot who wants it for the status.

General rule of thumb, Kiwis: If it's direct injection, don't buy it. If it's port injection, buy it and keep it running for life.

The first year of Trump was miserable. Did your goldfish brain forget that? Nobody could buy a house or car. The economy he built on a foundation of bullshit crumbled at the stress of a global event. Not very strong or efficient now was it?

That it’s 3 months into Trump’s admin? Yeah, can you count? January, February, March. How many months is that?
Tell me you're retarded without telling me you're retarded. He was inaugurated on January 20th. March 20th would be 3 months. Jesus Christ, this is what happens when you smoke too much dope kids.

>you either agree 100% or not at all
Only a retard speaks in absolutes.

They speak in absolutes because they have already made up their mind on the subject and are unwilling to hear otherwise. They are living embodiments of madness, they ask the same questions everyday expecting that your opinion will change because they're upset. Unless Trump does everything they personally want, ranging from deporting all non-Whites to blowing up Israel they will forever be unhappy and find an excuse to label everything the administration does as a slip up or failure. Even if you agree with them that the administration made a mistake (like the Epstein files or how deportations slowed down) they won't be happy they'll just move on to the next talking point that they're upset about.

I however make a carve out here for user fatpacks because at least he is funny and high energy.

Bog witch. It's insanity that someone looking that unprofessional is allowed any power in our country.
I dunno, the Russians have Valentina Petrenko.

This is not an invitation to talk about Russia. This is to point out that this woman looks fucking ridiculous.

Roberts just loves doing shit like this and ACB is Roberts 2.0. He will give some basically meaningless "win" for better optics for the court. The only thing Roberts and ACB care about is how they are perceived by the MSM and not having the take any actual cases where potentially a wide precedent could be set which is why every time they go as narrow as possible on slam dunk easy wins.

seen as 'the reasonable one'
By betraying the party. They aren't the GOP. Being a traitor doesn't give you asspats.

He'd get a dead fish wrapped in newspaper and later this year get a rape accusation and forced to step down so Shapiro can take his place
Not going to lie, I don’t really think he had any chance in 2028 due to health concerns. But otherwise I completely agree, it was a big missed opportunity.
He'd be destroyed in any debate. People were shocked how bad he looked on Rogan but that's because he has to read a teleprompter now instead of looking someone in the eye while speaking apparently. It's rough, plus him looking away while Vance pulls a Jim on him would be a landslide election.
SCOTUS just blocked Trump’s USAID funding freeze. 5-4 lmao Roberts and ACB

I love these conservative judges, why can't we be more like mexico and just...

So let me get this straight. Democrats, people who spend millions on think tanks and media experts, think the following will work for them:
  • Not standing together or cheering a kid with a brain tumor being made a glowie (lol) or grieving moms.
  • Not standing for women and betting it all on troons.
  • Having a retarded nigger get kicked out in the most homosexual way possible.
  • Have a response made by yet another retarded cross eyed nigger who complains about theft and the economy, despite how bad things got buttfucked by Biden.
  • Somehow try to convince Americans federal bloat and wasteful world spending is good.
  • Saying war is good.
  • Think Americans care about the feelings of Canada, Mexico, and most laughably Europe.
  • Hold tiny faggy signs that are easily shooped.
  • All make a copy paste short vid whining like faggots.
  • Use Reddit bots and try to make it a main platform for propaganda.
Holy fuck. Imagine paying countless millions for strategy like this. DNC, you gotta fire whoever is advising you. Put me in, coach. I’ll save the democrats and all you have to do is pay me $50 per hour and let me drone Pikers LA home.
it can always get worse.

Don't you remember that part of the 1937 Reichstag speech where Hitler made a black child who survived cancer the honorary SS-Obergruppenführer, and everyone in the room sieg heil'd the black kid who would one day fulfill his dream in becoming the Führer of the Greater Germanic Reich?!
I do, this is him now:

Yeah we should dump our federal reserve and own nothing. Be happy with the chainsaw man whose country still can’t afford to eat. We’re entering into our Weimar era, or as you put it, our Austrian-Milei era. If it worked for 110 years why did it suddenly break when the wreckers decided to tear everything that held our nation up regarding economic strength and prosperity down? Oh I forgot, somehow the woke lib democrats and Biden controlled all of American history so it needs to go.
What would you know, I can eat just fine. As a matter of fact why do you keep posting faggot? You're more worthless than HHH, at least he was funny.

We used to have some of the largest gold reserves in the world, most industry in the world, etc. Noticed how as the federal reserve grew more and more powerful more and more of that disappeared?

The Weimar Republic was a result of interventionist social democratic policies exacerbating and prolonging the depression, literally the dire opposite of the restraint and discipline Austrian economics demands.

"It worked for 110 years"
Except it didn't? All it has done is completely destroy domestic market discipline, radically inflated prices to the point that proper social behaviors has been negatively affected because spaces for convention have been priced out, allowed omnipotent government which has fucked over the world.

Yes, modern cars last longer in terms of mileage
Arguable. We have to determine what constitutes vehicle death.

Say it’s “when a repair cost exceeds the blue book value.” At that point, you gain nothing from having the repair done in terms of value. If we use that as a definition, modern cars have like 10 years on them.

I live in the north east. By far, the main cause of death of cars is “irreparable” rust. By irreparable, I mean the above definition. If you have a huge pile of money, you could get ANYTHING replaced or rebuilt, but frame rust is almost never worth doing anything about.

Modern cars are assholes because EVEN THOUGH they’re so much more plastic that in prior generations, wherever there’s metal you’re still going to deal with rust, and the frame is still vulnerable even with an undercarriage coat

But modern cars have deployed vast arrays of weird and seemingly unnecessary sensors that people are ok with sourcing from shitholes like China, and the cost of fixing shit can add up very quickly. Alternately, I had a ford fusion with a weird double clutch automatic transmission that was added to improve fuel efficiency. Shit used plastic in the transmission, so of course it just fails and the transmission grinds itself apart.

Cost to replace? $6k. Garages wouldn’t even work on the clutches. I was refused by three different places including a transmission specialist. You have to replace the whole thing.

That was a vehicle death at less than ten years

Inflation is a disingenuous measure considering $1 from the 1870s is worth like $20 today.
Inflation means that my labor is worth less for every incremental hour I work, meaning neither I nor anyone else can ever get ahead. We all have to work forever. I don't know about you, but I prefer not being a slave to the Federal Reserve.

But hey, you do you, buddy.
