I think a better comparison (contrastison?) is in Scott Cawthon. He's a humble Christian man who really doesn't know what he's doing but he gets out there and just makes games. I saw this video the other day about all the shit he did before FnaF and it's genuinely fascinating. Scott has actually made dozens of games, some good, some bad, but none quite as ubiquitous as FnaF. And he once actually put his money where his mouth is and encouraged his fans to make games with the fanverse initiative. It backfired spectacularly because the FnaF community is godawful but it's leagues above DMCA'ing anyone and everyone who is even mildly critical of you.

OMOCAT is the Vivziepop of indie devs. While herself and her circle are insufferable and her game's fanbase is even worse, she at least managed to deliver a product people liked, which is more than can be said for Mald.

According to him, the phone number was from a LLC that wasn't him and that the person who filed the DMCA claims used Proton Mail which makes it hard to find the source. Furthermore, he encourages people to contact him if any other person files DMCAs in his name.

I've been enjoying it, personally. I haven't really been using it for mounting as much as I did in World (because they borked the mid-air jump system somehow) but the pseudo-Assist playstyle the Kinsects get with Focus Mode have made it a pretty fun aggro light weapon. It's really satisfying to get up in the monster's face and pull the new whirlwind attack off, extra if you managed to get all 3 essences back so you can do it again. I can see why Jason gravitated towards it because it feels like crack to use optimally with the least amount of thought out of the "complex" weapons.
That or he still believes Glaive is S-Tier and is still trying to meta-slave.

Is it true that you have to break your hands to play Glaive now (I heard this was true in the beta) or is it alright?
I loved glaive in 4 and World, I'm cool with the anime air shit being gone tbh.
So far in Wilds I've been rocking the Bow and Hammer. I never played ranged weapons seriously and the Bow is honestly so much fun in this entry. I'm also using gyro for it since why not and it's great once you get the sens you like.
Landing a tracer and doing charged shots > Spread shot combo > New Thousand Dragons for a gorillion dmg
I always try and play an unfimiliar weapon in each new game. Hammer I'm also learning, and it's nice bc it's pretty classic feeling. Might actually do bowguns now that I broke into bow, But I want to retvrn to Horn and Swagaxe kino too... I skipped playing any horn in risebreak bc of how they butchered it

Also chargeblade isn't even the true big brain weapon, Horn is.
Maldy would NEVER EVER be able to learn Horn to it's fullest potential.

An LLC has to be registered at least in the US.
