PART 1: X / TWITTER
1. Introduction
In light of recent events regarding a thread on the individual by the name of BittyCat (powerword: Yazmin Caceres) and the abhorrent content made by her, I've unfortunately uncovered a deeply disturbing rabbit hole of users on the site "x.com" (formerly twitter.com) who have been using the site to connect with other likeminded individuals. This started with me looking into some random lolicon on X, who was defending BittyCat.
If you're unfamiliar with what a "MAP" is, it stands for "minor-attracted person". It's essentially a term that "new wave" pedophiles use in order to get accepted more into "marginalized circles" (aka: LGBTQ+ and others). However, because these people do not understand the fact that NOBODY likes pedophiles at all, it failed for them miserably. So now its become a term used by pedophiles to identify themselves to other pedophiles. If you want a more detailed but broader thread about the subject, there's already one made in Community Watch. This thread, however, will focus on identifying MAPs within the sphere of X / Twitter (I will be referring to it as Xitter from now on).
This OP is going to start out unprofessionally, as I can only stomach seeing it for so long. So consider this an on-going endeavor.
2. Who & Where Are These People?
These people tend to overlap in very similar explicit circles, such as the Lolicons / Shotacons, Gooners, pro-shipping (which is basically the same circle as lolicons / shotacons, but much broader), pro-Trans congregations, Raceplay (specifically Blacked), and anything that contains pornography. Surprising, I know. But it's much more nefarious than you may think. As for the "who", they are pedophiles. They are freaks who are addicted to the idea of molesting children.
You can find these accounts mostly in lolishota & gooner circles specifically. Especially under the "Community" tab on Xitter and the new "Posts" feature on YouTube. Sometimes they advertise themselves with images claiming that their DMs are open to "no limit", but most of the time they tend to be behind locked accounts. So it's somewhat difficult to come across these accounts normally without finding it through unassuming means. Which is a silver lining to all of this. However, it doesn't mean it's super hard to find them either. All it takes is typically one popular porn account, and looking through their followings to find them. The way I stumbled across this was by looking into some of the people who were defending "BittyCat" and lolicons, and it really didn't take long to find them.
If this was the only thing to it, I would've just posted my findings under the already created MAP thread. However, it gets much, much worse than you think.
3. It Gets Worse (And Why I Made This Thread).
There is a very good reason why I explicitly stated NOT to interact with these people in any capacity. In the same account I was digging through, I came across a startling amount of accounts claiming (or, in some capacity implying) to be underage. The way I can describe this is that they either stated their actual age, had quotation marks where their age was, had some type of mathematical problem within their location, or they said "DM for age". For the sake of their safety, I will be censoring their names. I will not be including any more examples beyond what's shown in spoilers. I could barely stomach what I was seeing, and I doubt you would too.
This, above all else, is what prompted me to make this thread. This isn't just a bunch of disgusting freaks who were congregating among themselves (which is bad enough as it is), there are supposed kids who are actively putting themselves into these compromising positions where they can be exploited. Or worse: adults pretending to be kids in order to lure unsuspecting victims to them. I've already reported these accounts to Xitter. And if you come across anything similar, you need to do the same thing.
4. Circles of Congregation (aka Off-platform Communication)
Despite there being a sizable network between these freaks on Xitter, they tend to encourage off-platform communication. These platforms are usually encrypted messaging programs, or decentralized social media networks like the ones seen in the Fediverse. The reason should be obvious: to trade, sell, and exchange illegal material. Or, an even worse assumption: invite them to various groups with other likeminded freaks. I will cover the notable ones, and will expand in the future if more platforms are discovered.
Teleguard
Not to be confused with Telegram, Teleguard is a messaging program created in 2021 by Swiss-based anonymous web search engine "Swisscows". Teleguard is end-to-end encrypted, meaning that IP addresses and metadata are not stored, and messages are only stores on the device. Which means that it's the perfect program for these people to communicate on. While it's free to download on Desktop and Android devices, it costs $2.99 to use on the Apple Store. Regardless, this messaging program seems to be gaining more traction in these circles. You'll see a text (usually in the "Location" part of the profile) stylized as "tg:" followed by a user code.
In 2024, a Maine "femboy" was caught in (& plead guilty to) possession of Child Pornography on the app (archive). And as recent as 2025, a 29 year old Utah teacher within the Davis school district was charged with 30 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, a first-degree felony; and two counts of enticing a minor, a second-degree felony (archive).
Session
Session is another messaging program created in 2020 by Australian-based company The Oxen Project. It started out as a fork of open-source messaging software "Signal", and is also end-to-end encrypted. Unlike Teleguard, however, all the applications are free on every platform. And it doesn't require even an email to set up. All it requires is a functioning device. And unlike Teleguard, the user code is usually so long it takes up the bio of the user, and is stylized as "sess" among the users.
Although there hasn't been much of a news scandal like Teleguard (surprisingly enough), it is worth noting that in 2024, the company had to move their operations out of Australia after police began an investigation into this company by unlawfully searching one of the employees apartments (archive).
Matrix.org / [matrix]
Matrix is a communication protocol platform meant for "secure, decentralized communication". Founded by the "Matrix.Org Foundation", it was meant to be used as a way to decentralize message communication.
Discord
Although less used than the other platforms, Discord ends up being a bit more common than you think. Although I doubt its used to share illicit material, it is used to bridge communications with other various pedophiles & victims alike. Because, well, it's fucking Discord.
I don't even know where to begin with this in terms of how many scandals there's been on the platform. Just Google it yourself, and you'll understand how vast that rabbit hole is. However, due to its popularity, its rarely used by these people.
Fediverse
For a more comprehensive breakdown regarding the Fediverse, please check out the dedicated thread on the subject.
The Fediverse is a comprehensive network of various social media platforms that can directly communicate with one another, while being on separate domains. These instances are based on open-source projects, and use the "ActivityPub protocol" to communicate with one another. Many websites, including Mastodon, Instagram Threads, and BlueSky utilize this for the basis of their platforms. However, because of its open-source nature and cross-platform communication, there are certain Fediverse instances used by pedophiles in order to post their pro-pedo content.
You might be wondering why I'm mentioning this platform, since it's seemingly separate from Xitter. The reasoning why is because a lot of the fediverse instances overlap with the Xitter accounts. Although it isn't as prevalent of an overlap, it is still worth mentioning. As the content that is produced on the fediverse can spread onto Xitter (and vice versa). A good example of this would be with the aforementioned "BittyCat", who used various pro-pedophile Fediverse instances to sell their audio content to legitimate pedophiles while also being extremely active on Xitter.
5. Terminology
Because these people can't be flat out open about what they do, they seemingly use an array of symbols & phrases to communicate what they actually are, what they have, and what they are into. Keep in mind I'm completely guessing here by the implications, and based on what I've posted beforehand.
