Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Even assuming its true, I can't imagine Europe standing beside literal child soldiers either.
"Harry, you've got an owl! Except it's not a letter from Hogwarts..."

"Think of the hecking MIC-erinos! Those poor guys at Raytheon have kids too."

Not sure what he's so concerned over. Europe doesn't have the manufacturing capability, or energy capacity, buy domestically.
Meanwhile in the real world the French can make, maximum, 20-21 jets a year.

The Eurofighter is extremely expensive and at a developmental dead end.

The Gripen uses American engines and subsystems and is a small point defense fighter.

The Euros let their defense industrial base vanish....

Euro AFV production is bad, best they can actually mass produce are armored cars and trucks.

Sad thing is, he isn't wrong. Re-arming, re-industrialization, self-reliance, re-capitalization of financial markets - all of those things are needed. And, by the way, Trump told the EU this eight years ago.

And yet, none of those things will be done. They can't. Money will be printed, borrowed, and taxed, and then lost to "safe" hedging by layers and layers of bureaucrats - and even by the private sector! So they can have none of the direct responsibility and all the credit for initiatives that won’t happen in the end - or, in other words, so they can have a safe job and a cushy pension.

Europe, in all its choices for the last 30 years, at minimum, played everything safe - and now, no one knows how to play it any other way!
You would have to take a sledgehammer to every bureaucrat's head, every institution, every school, every bank, in every state, and then burn down the whole city of Brussels with the EU like a pagan offering to the goddess Fortuna, and maybe, just maybe, fortune would change.

I, for one, am looking forward to the fire.

Ukraine is so fucked wtf. I hope by the end of this Zelenskyy is dead so he can't profit off all the billions he inured into off-shore manions and bank accounts.
Zelensky is a hungry money tard that is going to continue fighting and wants to continue to fight an unwinnable war to fill his pockets this is what it all comes down to.

Were it so easy, but I've been saying for a long while now that this will end with a government in exile situation, with him living comfy off in some upscaled diplomatic estate as a political tool for whatever warmongers are available at the time. Before recent events, I figured it'd be in the US, but now it looks like the Brits really want to perpetuate this shit forever while the US wants out, so who knows.

Why are basically all the huge Ukrainian absolutist accounts British? The British in particular seems super gung ho about Ukraine. And I know the Russians seem to have a special Animus towards them, they made a big deal about being able to nuke Britain in particular if they had to. What the fucks up with that?
Read up on the historical relationship between the two nations and you shall have your answer :^)

The British have been dining out for the last 80 years on blowing up their empire to start a war with Germany they couldn't possibly win "taking a stand against Fascism " so they're literally incapable of seeing any kind of foreign policy outside of the frame of that, the last time they mattered.
