They're so obsessed with the mythologizing of WW2 and the constant comparisons the media makes towards Ukraine and WW2. They're terrified of being called out for "not supporting Ukraine" and being compared to Trump.
The whole UK and France wanting to send their forces into Ukraine to fight Russia confuses me.
If they go ahead and do this I have a few ideas for outcomes:
1. They send in a large "advisor" force (apart from the ones there already). These advisors are there to help "advise", but they go into combat and eventually get withered out (fighting is similar to trench warfare with drones and such, against an experienced and combat hardened force backed by a large country, not a bunch of rag tag sandniggers - who BTFO'd them too). They might bitch and moan about article 5 meme, but since they're advisors... well it's not technically war or whatever.
2. They send in troops to join the war effort. The troops get wiped out faster, probably due to them going into action sooner (perhaps some refuse and/or go AWOL); they'd probably scream about article 5, but I doubt The USA would want to get involved under The Trump admin (apart from some rouge glowies).
3. They continue to bitch and moan (hopefully this outcome, as it's not sacrificing more of your men for the meatgrinder).
The other thing I'd wonder about is if they send in troops, and perhaps even if not, would the USA freeze exports to their countries. IIRC natural gas and propane supplied to Europe mostly comes from Norway and the USA. Obviously I don't see Norway cutting off their supplies, but if the USA did, then it could cause major financial issues. Here in the states, we will be having economic issues that will probably get worse for the foreseeable future; yet if Western Europe (mainly UK and France) decide to go full retard, then they would suffer massively if the USA were to ban, or heavily restrict exports to their countries. Then again Western Europe's leaders have been retarded for quite some time now.
