not to be mean, but the sense of humor i've seen in that game is exactly the type of "cartoony" humor people loved from naughty dog in the 2000s, it just has aged real fucking badly. if the game came out in 2001 it would have been a beloved classic.
Its fairly obvious that they're going to butcher this 2nd season. nothing as vile as the golf club stuff, i wouldn't be surprised if they try to make it seem like Joel survives. Honestly i'd love if they did a TLOU 2:the tv show: the game. Because you know the TV version of abby and all the events of the series are going to make it a lot less harsh and a lot less of a middle finger to the fans vs the game, especially with Pedro just now hitting his peak.
